7 Day History
Alexander #Lukashenko, inaugurated today, has no legitimacy to lead his country. He is responsible for presidential elections in #Belarus which were neither free nor fair. Slovakia 馃嚫馃嚢 stands with citizens of Belarus.
Such a farce. Forged elections. Forged inauguration. The former president of #Belarus does not become less former. Quite the contrary. His illegitimacy is a fact with all the consequences that this entails.
#Belarus Happening right now in #Minsk. Independence square is blocked, there are rumours that the internet will be shut down. Eyewitnesses noticed water cannons. Police vans are in many spots around the city. #Lukashenko is scared of yet another day and weekend of the protests pic.twitter.com/hobGlCH5i4
#Tsikhanouskaya asked for all political prisoners to be released in #Belarus - I agreed 100%. I asked her to join me in also calling for release of political prisoners in #Catalunya and the release of Julian #Assange in London. Sadly she wasn't interested in other prisoners.... pic.twitter.com/7M6PssChkF
