The Ayodhyapuri of Nepal was originally called Madi.

It was renamed in 1911 in honor of a sannyasi from Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya named Ramananda Giri who attained Samadhi in that Village.

Of course if they want to believe it to be Ayodhya and construct a temple, we have no issue
Real Ayodhya lies in Nepal, not in India. Lord Ram is Nepali not Indian: Nepali media quotes Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli (file pic) pic.twitter.com/k3CcN8jjGV
"नौमी भौम बार मधु मासा। अवधपुरीं यह चरित प्रकासा।।
जेहि दिन राम जनम श्रुति गावहिं। तीरथ सकल तहाँ चलि आवहिं।।

On the day of Rama Navami in Ayodhya where Lord the illuminated world with his birth it is as though all pilgrimages visit Ayodhya to catch a glimpse of Rama"-
Tulasidas
"There is no evidence to show that Ayodhya was a Hindu pilgrimage centre in ancient times. Tulsidas, the celebrated author of the Ramcharitmanas does not mention Ayodhya as a pilgrim centre," says Historian D.N. Jha.

The Ayodhya mahant who tested positive wasn’t wearing a mask. After all the publicity and messaging, after all these months, with the PM standing next to him- he wasn’t wearing a mask. The question is why wasn’t he asked to? Why are the bigwigs exempt from common sense?
