7 Day History
Still just stunning to me how little policy of any sort @NYCMayor is doing right now. No social policy, no transpo policy... no policy at all. Just: wait out a world-historic pandemic and tell New Yorkers how tough we are. Unbelievable.
LOOK: This PUV traveling along the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Imus, Cavite has adapted to the government’s physical distancing requirement. Buses, jeepneys, and other modes of transpo required to halve their passengers so that Safe #PhysicalDistancing could be maintained. | JME pic.twitter.com/XLkkZGZNEC
Recovery Streets for PHL, endorsed by advocacy orgs, businesses, RCOs:
➡️Open/calm Streets in neighborhoods & parks
➡️Expanding Playstreets
➡️More space for food vending & outdoor seating
➡️Better transpo options for essential workers

➡️Read it: bicyclecoalition.org/programs/visio…
Seriously, still on cycling as transpo— we were able to reopen our one biz only because 3 of our employees live near enough to bike. No bike, no work. No work, no economy.
