This is how I want to think about Brody Stevens. Having fun and making the best of impossible situations. Which he did ALL THE TIME.
1. Brody Stevens Story

There was a charity show at the Laugh Factory for the charity of a major Hollywood agency. The audience was all agents who were forced to go there by their work on a Tuesday night...

You’ve become kind of a touchstone for people trying to navigate a way through their pain. Thank you for sharing things you’ve learned. Thank you for finding a path to joy for yourself and your family. You’re a daily reminder that it’s possible to get through it all.
I had just recently been messaging with him about Brain Aid Fest. Please help me, Patton. The world needs and epic effort in our mental health crisis. Just imagine a Live Aid/@FarmAid + @TEDTalks + Comic Relief. I am gutted. Please message me ASAP. There is no more time to spare.
I was lucky enough to see Brody many times. Even on a random Monday night when I knew it would be old jokes, I got a ticket as if it would sell out in 30 seconds. I loved his energy. His delivery. How he made us laugh and how he introduced a crowd to laughter.
I’m so, so sorry, Patton. I’m so glad you - we - had him and so sad he’s gone.
Great story that once again highlights that it’s all about knowing your audience. 😎
What a gift. What a loss.
He was always so great on Chelsea Lately panels. So open and fun!
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. Of all our loss, I suppose. Hold your loved ones tight tonight. I will.
That's an amazing story. I'm so sorry for your loss.
He was so talented. Just heartbreaking. ❤️
Goddammit. What an amazing human too. I loved how he got crowds going before headliners. So sad
Thank you. I’m amping up my positive energy for life now.
I did not know him but I fangirled a bit when I saw him after the Oddball Comedy fest a few years back. He was so kind and pleasant and you could tell he was just a genuine soul (not to mention a special talent!) So sorry for your loss and for everyone who knew and loved him. RIP
Wonderful story. As someone who's been hip pocketed, that's hysterical. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Such fond memories of seeing you guys week to week at the old Largo on Fairfax in the year 2000.
Life is fragile. We will all die and it will be at any moment from anything. When we draw our last God given breath, the only things that will matter is love and what we did in this life with Jesus Christ. Nothing else will matter in that final moment. Peace be with you.
We can take comfort in the fact he got to enjoy two full years of MAGA before he went.
Obsess much??must be remembering all the times.yountwo molested kids together..1pic..1000words
An epic thread. Thanks for sharing.
Don’t think I ever saw his work, but love this story. Thanks for the share.
Such sad news, I will be spending this weekend rewatching some of his stuff while remembering the good times he has given me. youtube.com/watch?v=599Xx7…
What a great story. :(
The sad truth is that we don't miss people until will MISS the opportunity to help them find help. We trivialize, ignore, and minimize what people are struggling with. We have to make a concerted effort not to let our friends, however distant, slip through.
Comedy is about reading the room. A final lesson from Brody Stevens.
#RIPBrodyStevens damn I will miss that cheesy full grin.
