Had to turn the tv off. Can’t take it anymore.

Like watching someone in real time smashing everything in the Louvre with a sledgehammer

Just horrifying. What a loss.

Does anyone honestly believe that the most famous cathedral in Europe burning down during Holy Week is an "accident" due to "renovations"?

In reply to @BuckSexton
I have many questions. Church desecrations have been happening frequently in France. Seems someone has a problem with Christianity🤔

In reply to @BuckSexton
We went over there to help save those people and those structures and that culture from being lost to the Nazi's back in the early 40's. We stormed Normande and plowed thru France at a tremendous loss of life to save places like that. This is a world tragedy.

In reply to @BuckSexton
All historic sites churches museums monuments which hold value to humanity must be protected and preserved. 🙏

In reply to @BuckSexton
We gotta think rebuilding. Out of the ashes. We're Catholics this week reinforces our faith, not about dying but rising.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Dont worry. Theyll get around to the Louvre in time.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Yes and listening to S Smith makes it worse.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Looked to me like the French firefighters fought this blaze like they fight a war.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Horrifying. Not even the Nazi's touched Notre Dame.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Invading armies, including the Nazi's for nearly 900 year's couldn't bring down Norte Dame Cathedral, but incompetent French politicians might.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Really is so sad to see Buck

In reply to @BuckSexton
It is a terrible loss. The architecture and history of that structure can never be replaced!

In reply to @BuckSexton
Head scratcher is, how did it get so large and spread so fast. Somethings not right

In reply to @BuckSexton
How the hell it can be accidentally Cant we think of some conspiracy France is the target this days

In reply to @BuckSexton
Such a tragedy... But I can't help but feel 2 things... 1- was this intentional? (Arson) 2- how this feels very symbolic of France's recent choices.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Except nobody is smashing anything... still an accident for all we know. DO NOT stir up fear/anger in an interest to further the idea that “western civilization” is under attack

In reply to @BuckSexton
Reminds me of 9/11. Not as devastating because there was no (as of yet) deaths thank God. But similar level of sick in my stomach feeling.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Exactly! Hits like towers falling!!

In reply to @BuckSexton
I couldn’t turn it on. It’s heartbreaking. I regretted having watched the 9-11 coverage because those images stuck with me. I don’t want a video of the spire of Notre Dame collapsing parked permanently in my brain.

In reply to @BuckSexton
We lived in France. This is incredibly sad and painful to watch. What a tragedy for France and the world. 😪🙏

In reply to @BuckSexton
Amen. Impossible to watch, hurts to the core.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Heartbreaking!!! I feel blessed to have seen it in its Glory.

In reply to @BuckSexton
A dozen Catholic churches have been desecrated across France so far.

In reply to @BuckSexton
So damn sad. I am suspicious. In Afghanistan,Iraq - history destroyed....3,000 y.o. statues blown up.

In reply to @BuckSexton
read the Bible. :) God is alive my friend

In reply to @BuckSexton
Call me cynical, but I can't bring myself to believing this was accidental. It's Holy Week. Numerous other churches have been burned or desecrated in France. You can't tell me this just happened to start. How in the world would a fire accidentally start due to renovations?

In reply to @BuckSexton
The artwork was saved, btw. Last report I saw said most was removed in time or before the renovations.

In reply to @BuckSexton
It reminds me of how I felt on 9-11 obviously that was much worse but the same kind of feeling

In reply to @BuckSexton
Agreed. A horrible loss. Incalculable from a historical perspective.

It is sad, but people are sick of socialism, taxes and Muslims. They want France back.
But Paris is burning.

In reply to @BuckSexton
And to have Sheppy Smith commentate it is even more tragic

In reply to @BuckSexton
Buck. Why is Sheppard Smith cutting off and disconnecting an elected French official, who says French churches have been getting burned and desecrated since the beginning of the year, and they should stop being PC about it? What is SS afraid of? The truth?

In reply to @BuckSexton
Devastating! This is a horrific sign of the events unfolding in the world in which we live. We Must Pray!

In reply to @BuckSexton
"the Louvre".... don't give them any ideas !!! 😇 I think our collective hearts are crushed, and we can only take so much heartbreak at a time. The generations who will never SEE the history -- I feel the devastation will play out more as time goes on.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Why can't they suppress the fire? Tragic loss for the western world.

Me too. I'm gutted. Feels like 9/11 all over again.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Was it arson? It seems like it may be but you can't trust the French to be truthful. Especially if it was set my muslims.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Only thing worse would be the Louve burning pic.twitter.com/EUltbXgZCo

In reply to @BuckSexton
The Catholic Church in flames during Holy Week ~ the Devil will not win.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Here in France and we are devastated on many different levels. A real tragedy here. For France, for the french people Catholics, as well as Christianity in Europe and beyond.

I did the same! It’s a crime against humanity!!

This is the modern day equivalent of the Library of Alexandria burning... truly remarkable and sad day for history

In reply to @BuckSexton
The timing is interesting. Finding the perpetrators is paramount.

In reply to @BuckSexton
My fiance (now wife) and I were in Paris a year ago this month, our first trip to Europe. We intentionally lodged near Notre Dame, went there twice, including Sunday mass. We're so shocked at the loss of so much beauty and history. It has been horrifying to watch.

In reply to @BuckSexton
. Secularism destroyed #NotreDame, the fire only accentuated what France had already become. When Father Jacques Hamel was beheaded inside the church in July 2016, and did not cause any commotion, anyone could see that France was dying. RIP😢

In reply to @BuckSexton
Absolutely heartbreaking- really difficult to process this

In reply to @BuckSexton
To many people in France, who feel the surety of the ground beneath them shifting and change being forced on them at breakneck speed. The permanence that is #NotreDameCathedral burning will be extremely difficult to witness

In reply to @BuckSexton
I turned it off when Shep Smith rudely cut off a French Official.

Agreed and what makes it worst is Sheppard Smith is reporting on FOX

I know. I know. I went there with my dad a few years ago and it’s stunning inside and out. I am heart broken!!! 💔#NotreDameCathedral #NotreDame #NotreDameDeParis

In reply to @BuckSexton
So sad, I just can't believe it.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Truly sad to see history destroyed

In reply to @BuckSexton
It’s a monument to idolatry and the worship of the works of man over the works of Christ. Let it burn and repent from your heresy

In reply to @BuckSexton
It's absolutely heartbreaking .... such a tremendous loss for Paris and the entire world. #NotreDame

In reply to @BuckSexton
I've never been to Paris and I'm not Catholic. But my heart aches for them and I can't stop the tears.

In reply to @BuckSexton
My wife called me with the news in the car... I had to pull over.

In reply to @BuckSexton
How soon before #ISIS claims responsibility? 🤔

In reply to @BuckSexton
While this is a heartbreaking loss it pales to the images of the twin towers falling.

In reply to @BuckSexton
arson will be covered up

I agree so very sad to watch everything just burn

A tragic metaphor for what has been happening to the Church since the 60's.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Speaking of the Louvre-surprised nothing has happened there yet. 😬

In reply to @BuckSexton
I for some reason am not sure it was accidental, to many fires/desecration in France on church’s and they said the fire started right after they closed the doors at 6 pm. Makes me suspicious because of that right there. I know it’s early to find out but it does make 1 wonder.

I had to do the same. It just makes me sick. Catholic sites are being torched and defaced. And I bet it is being done by the followers of the 'religion of peace'.
The cabal has alot to answer for.

In reply to @BuckSexton
They'll probably want to replace it with a mosque.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Devastating! I pray it wasn’t arson!

In reply to @BuckSexton
Slightly off-topic, but, the media (MSM) never speaks about the gains, - with respect to all the antiquities that ISIS were actively destroying - of Trump allowing the military, in the theatre, to strategize and quickly diminish them.

In reply to @BuckSexton
I just pray this was an accident. If 'others' intentionally set this, there will be a horrific confrontation ahead for France.

In reply to @BuckSexton
Can't believe @ShepNewsTeam just compared it to 3000 people dying on 9/11. It's obviously very sad but...

In reply to @BuckSexton
Hopefully it was accidental ☝🏼⚠️

I took a break too, for a time. Still so sad about that incredible building going up in flames. #NotreDameCathedral
