Our Ambassadors should have better judgement than to take direction on foreign policy from a private citizen.

Remember that you work for the United States not a dictator鈥檚 personal lawyer.

Trump is the Tekashi 69 of presidents

In reply to @nytimes
So the US policy on Ukraine was being managed by a lawyer who is under multiple investigations and who just had four clients get arrested over the course of the last week?

In reply to @nytimes
We have a State Department. We have a diplomatic corps. We have intelligence services. Why in God's name, would anyone think it appropriate to send out @RudyGiuliani, on some Inspector Gadget-like mission to address foreign affairs?

In reply to @nytimes
Evidently he didn鈥檛 disagree enough to blow the whistle. No, his disagreement was so strong that he went right along with it, carrying trump鈥檚 water & doing his dirty work, all while enjoying the $1M renovations to his luxurious Brussels Ambassador鈥檚 residence on taxpayers鈥 dime

In reply to @nytimes
Side-Show Rudy, watch out for that......bus!!!

Look, if you鈥檙e not delegating American foreign policy to your personal attorney, what kind of President even are you?!

In reply to @nytimes
Any NFL team looking to sign a DB to their practice squad this Sondland kid looks to have a pretty good back peddle

In reply to @nytimes
Just a fun reminder this guy donated a million dollars to President Trump鈥檚 inauguration fund in order to put himself in this spot.

In reply to @nytimes
Do the right thing Sondland. Stand on the right side of history.

Does Giuliani have security clearance? NO
Does Giuliani have ambassador status? NO
Does Giuliani have membership in government? NO
Is Giuliani a paid member of staff? NO
Is Giuliani a diplomat? NO
WHAT THE HELL WAS TRUMP THINKING?

Sonland is full of shit! He knew exactly what was happening. I am glad, however, he鈥檚 throwing trump under the bus...but he鈥檚 all bullshit!

In reply to @nytimes
So many people going under the bus the wheels don't touch the ground.

Ok, but who doesn't know shit like this doesn't always go on?
As if United Fruit Company didn't call Dulles and request a CIA-backed coup in Central America. As if Iran-Contra Scandal was just a blip on the radar. As if AIPAC is just a sewing circle.
COME ON!!! WAKE UP!!!

In reply to @nytimes
Clear Logan Act violation if true.

In reply to @nytimes
This is enough reason for impeachment.

In reply to @nytimes
Rudy Giuliani does not work for the United States. VERY suspicious and almost certainly illegal.

In reply to @nytimes
Sondland's ambassadorship is a throwback to 17th and 18th century Europe, when a person without needed qualifications but lots of money -- citizen in good standing or repulsive monster -- could buy for himself a cardinal hat or a title at the court.

In reply to @nytimes
don't blame the crime all on Rudy as he was carrying Donald's water

In reply to @nytimes
Giuliani has a lot to explain -- is he going to do it voluntarily or he will be dragged before the Congress?

Here again, Trump and his lemmings will wave their hands and say it鈥檚 just fine. Witch hunt. Coup. Fake news. Or just blather on about some qanon nonsense. That鈥檚 why we鈥檙e where we are now.

In reply to @nytimes
looks like Paulie Walnuts going down for this one...

Hey, MAGAts - you were right! There really IS a 鈥楧eep State.鈥 And it鈥檚 YOUR fucking guys running it!!!! So - 鈥榟ow ya like us NOW?!鈥

In reply to @nytimes
Is that even legal?

Trump has a DUTY to, as the nation's top law enforcement officer, to investigate suspected international crimes by former U.S. officials of the rank we're talking about here!!! So, even IF this is true IT'S TRUMP'S DUTY TO DO SO!!!!

In reply to @nytimes
This story is BULLSHIT, The New York Times is BULLSHIT The impeachment 鈥渋nquiry鈥 is BULLSHIT Adam Schiff is BULLSHIT Nancy Pelosi is BULLSHIT The Democrat Party is BULLSHIT Other than that, we believe you. 馃

In reply to @nytimes
Somehow I feel from reading this that Sondland is really trying to cover his own ar*e. The letter itself seems to contradict itself as to Trump's intent (or maybe I just got lost in the bad grammar and punctuation).

In reply to @nytimes
Prepare for the later Trump rage-Tweet that denounces Sondland's character, degree of knowledge, denial of doing anything wrong, etc...

In reply to @nytimes
"concerns . . . related corruption in Ukraine" is missing "to" after related. @npfandos @nytmike pic.twitter.com/6e3EF3siPO

In reply to @nytimes
Let's remember #Sondland gave $1 MILLION to Trump's campaign.... ... Sondland bought his Ambassadorship.... ... Sondland KNEW what he was doing when it comes to #Ukraine.... ... Sondland will save himself & his hotel fortune by ratting out @realDonaldTrump & @RudyGiuliani.

In reply to @nytimes
Here we have a list of three people with a semicolon between the first and second and a comma between the second and third. Weird pic.twitter.com/hWS2EpcVrz

In reply to @nytimes
Sounds like BS to me, but if somehow true, trusting Rudy with anything so important shows shockingly poor judgement.

In reply to @nytimes
I hope he has corroborating evidence because Trump will only deny it. He will say Rudy acted all on his own without his knowledge or consent. Nixon tried that too until his own tapes buried him. But I don鈥檛 think Trump talks on tape, that he knows of.

In reply to @nytimes
Sondland knows Trump is planning to throw Sondland, Giuliani and Perry under the bus. Best to get out in front of it.

Hoe red ik mijn reet, les 1.

48-72 Hour BS Rule invoked. Again.

In reply to @nytimes
If we don鈥檛 arrest @RudyGiuliani for failure to respond to subpoenas, how about Logan Act violation?

In reply to @nytimes
Trump will do anything to win regardless if right or wrong,How can any person follow this man?

鈥淟ook, all I wanted was a few free trips to Brussels.鈥

In reply to @nytimes
Wonder what sort of security clearance mad Rudy had to do that?

In reply to @nytimes
See that bus Rudy? You鈥檙e about to@be thrown under it.

In reply to @nytimes
Do Guiliani et all activities re: Ukraine qualify as a violation of the Logan Act? We need some journalistic reporting on this.

In reply to @nytimes
Sure he did. Trump is distancing himself as he always does or they are protecting him because of some childhood trauma that makes these guys protect an abuser.

The @nytimes Is more of a gossip column not what it was before the lunatics took over. You are an embarrassment. The president can hire and fire and if you really want to investigate investigate Democrats Ukraine 2016 and Hillary Clinton

I was worried about what he was going to say but it looks like he's going to do the right thing.

We are starting to see a pattern.

Ones with the MOST criminal activity/illegal foreign ties/ obstruction are the ones whining loudest & refusing to cooperate. OUTING THEMSELVES

In reply to @nytimes
Huge testimony. Wonder what Giuliani and Trump are thinking right about now?

In reply to @nytimes
Did Giuliani have security clearance?

In reply to @nytimes
It's interesting how quick he changed his tune to... pic.twitter.com/Ibh2zlGH2q

In reply to @nytimes
Think Sondland鈥檚 wife told him he better show and up tell the truth.

Sondland had to abandon working with our allies in order to work with Giuliani to please Trump. #ImpeachTrump

To recap:

#Trump appointees are turning on him in addition to career govt officials

Not sure how you can have a situation again where trumps personal attorney is the fall guy but not the #potus himself

At some point reality sets in, I鈥檇 hope

#trumpletter #ThursdayThoughts

Corrupt. Criminal. Traitor.
Impeach this dangerous embarrassment.

Imagine thinking delegating your policy on ANYTHING AT ALL to RUDY GIULIANI was a good idea.

#Translation Ambassador Sondland admits he wouldn鈥檛 carry out his job and got fired because of it.

Imagine coming for a political opponent only for it to open a bigger investigation into you and your attorney.

In reply to @nytimes
Is it a public testimony ? Just NYT "interpretation" from a Dem leak !

In reply to @nytimes
I truly hope this guy tells it like it is. What will it take for the republicans to put country before their own personal misguided political careers?

In reply to @nytimes
so glad his testimony is being done privately.

In reply to @nytimes
Lets all remember Donald HIRED and gave authority to rudi. He's as guilty as rudy is like a mob boss is guilty for orders given. Feeling sorry for rudys kids for having him as a dad

In reply to @nytimes
Wow. Alone reason to throw him out!

In reply to @nytimes

I still don't understand why trump is still in our White House and Giuliani hasn't been arrested. 馃

In reply to @nytimes
Mulvaney says aid was withheld because of corruption. Ok - what goals did Trump tell Zelensky he had to meet? What terms did Trump tell president of Ukraine he hadto meet in order to get the aid? If he withheld aid because Ukraine was corrupt, why not withhold aid to everyone?

In reply to @nytimes
Rudy has not had any Clearance to do this!!!!!! Plus Rudy wasn鈥檛 working for the US he was working totally for Trump鈥檚 personal use and that鈥檚 the crime!!! Also is Rudy on our taxpayers money????

In reply to @nytimes
But Joe Biden and Hunter Biden is innocent, right?

In reply to @nytimes
You bunch of idiots are not going to bring down the greatest president that we鈥檝e ever had so stop trying. God is on his side and you people are the devil. Don鈥檛 you even watch his rallies? #TrumpRallyDallas We the people are powerful too and we are putting him back into office.

It appears that Ambassador Sondland knows he has to save his own hide. Others concealing Trump's high crimes and misdemeanors should take note. Trump will not save you. Get ready for #ImpeachmentHearings #ImpeachmentInquiry

The Fixer had no business over there in the first place. Trump should have advisors, like every other president, to prevent mistakes & to direct the appropriate departments to do their jobs.
This is a Huge Fail in leadership-not filling cabinet positions & micro managing 鈥渄eals鈥

Who cares about the crooked english that spied and helped with the Fake Russian Colusion ??Quess he had thid Hand Info Too!! Please ..
