Well others see it as a machine鈥檚 job. I see it as an employment for 4 hardworking women who can feed their families and make ends meet.

In reply to @cricketcomau
There a machine to do that, but I guess they pay Kholi and co too much.

In reply to @cricketcomau
Globally India has the 5th largest economy and here we see cheap and poor labor without adequate equipment to do the job. Bow my head in shame 馃槳

In reply to @cricketcomau
After they have swept the pitch, it will be time to bring in the heavy roller pic.twitter.com/EFmDzfX1Hf

This shows, what is the BRAHMINIAN MONOPOLY and how @BCCI is the richest cricket board in the globe and which is administrated by brahmins, who strangles the poor for mere few cents in return of making the poor work like a donkey for decades now. Shame on @BCCI

In reply to @cricketcomau
They are happy with their job you are not right to ask about job pic.twitter.com/ppix0jCJoL

After hair dryers now v r seeing this.Ladies are cleaning the pitch manually.@BCCI can pay crores to crktrs but can't buy proper equipment. If u still want to employ these workers then let em use those new equipment to so the same.World's richest board in tatters

In reply to @cricketcomau
its a shame that you don't buy equipment to maintain the pitches ... yet BCCI is the richest cricketing board

In reply to @cricketcomau
I do hope these workers are being paid well for their efforts. This is a scene we cricket followers around the world would rarely see. I also hope these women get regular employment. So much money is made by the cricket industry in India.

In reply to @cricketcomau
Not the only sweep that will happen today! pic.twitter.com/qSKl7qchAo

Remove the grass
Not an iota of anything resembling to grass
Home side has panicked

In reply to @cricketcomau
So now BCCI will turn to some kind of black magic to win against the OZ , since they are the richest board and this doesn't look like what's needed. It definetly looks like some black magic trick 馃檴馃檲

In reply to @cricketcomau
I can鈥檛 believe I鈥檓 watching these scenes. When you can pay huge bucks to the players why not pay 1/10th of it to maintain and buy advanced machinery to prepare and guard the pitch. Poor job by the @BCCI.

In reply to @cricketcomau
Nothing sad here at all. 4 employees instead of one dude on a machine. Compare it to self service checkouts !! One worker instead of 4 or 5 juniors earning money and responsibilities.

In reply to @cricketcomau
Those who have a problem with this and wants a machine instead are the ones who are complaining about machines stealing their jobs..IRONY

Hoping to get the @DidsburyWCC involved in pitch preparation this season @DidsburyCC ..........馃槅馃槅

In reply to @cricketcomau
All D criticism R baseless.1 equipment will take job of all these women.Writing coment is easy bt giving job to 130 crore+ population is??? Yes. Giving proper gloves &other protective tools wil be appreciated! If this much population to australia. Country will go Mad in a month

In reply to @cricketcomau
Dont they have machines to do this job

In reply to @cricketcomau
Feel bad for these ladies @imVkohli pls pay them hefty amt of money aft the match irrespective of the result.

In reply to @cricketcomau
I guess there is no other intention for @cricketcomau by posting this video other than signifying the pitch preparation. Just FYI, there is no harm in doing it this way if it does the job very well. Machines can be brought in, but we cherish the good old days mechanism.

In reply to @cricketcomau
I see poverty and low wages in this picture, instead of inspiring cricket its sad tell of the larger population of India

In reply to @cricketpitch101
@cricketpitch101 Are these brushes available at Bunnings???

In reply to @cricketcomau
The Indian players and @BCCI should know better and have seen what happens in other countries. They should be embarrassed and work for change. Notice that no men do the menial work. A very poor advertisement for all concerned in Indian cricket. #Mansplaining

India is second largest country by population and we added on australia every year in population. So, we are trying to give more employment to people. We have capacity to buy equipment but they affect on employment to people of india. So, we not shame on that.
