Romelu Lukaku is 26 years old. Christian Eriksen will be 28 next month. Wages are significantly lower in Italy than England.

English media complaining about wages when English clubs are literally the problem why wage structures are fucked in Europe

In reply to @footballitalia
If they said giroud and young fair enough they are getting on but Lukaku and Eriksen are in their prime and plenty of good years left.

In reply to @footballitalia
Imagine taking dailymail serious.

In reply to @footballitalia
This is a PHENOMENALLY misinformed article. Almost laughably so.

In reply to @footballitalia
Thats when the best league in the world becomes the most boring one, serie a always been a league full of stars

In reply to @footballitalia
Must be english.. that's the only type of stuff they write when someone choose italy over them or leaves England for italy

In reply to @footballitalia
Eriksen is world class. This is a great deal for Inter and a huge loss for Tottenham. He’s still one of the best players in the Premier League. Big loss for the league, huge gain for Inter and Serie A. Inter would smash Arsenal if they played right now (for what it’s worth) 😄

In reply to @footballitalia
It bothers them the Serie A is back .

In reply to @footballitalia
This is the trash we get everyday in england

English journalistic arrogance knows no bounds.

The hubris of this headline is laughable. You can taste the salt from a mile away.

In reply to @footballitalia
It's normal to leave the EPL, at a certain age you can't take that shit weather and God awful food 🤮anymore !

In reply to @footballitalia
Sorry but if Inter are getting Eirkson for £10 mil wow what a bargain he is 27 what a pointless piece of Journalism. Young and Giroud I agree

In reply to @footballitalia
Yeah, Lukaku turns 39 this year..

In reply to @footballitalia
Named players in their prime 🤔 Are they supposed to get big contracts when they’re youngsters or well their 30s......

English outlets are genuinely terrified about the rise of Italian football again. It's slowly regaining its appeal and they can't stand it

The Daily Fail strikes again

The older guys usually arrive to patch a spot on the bench.

In reply to @footballitalia
I complain a lot about Italian newspapers but this is even worse

In reply to @footballitalia

In reply to @footballitalia

In reply to @footballitalia
Isn’t Sanchez getting half of his wages payed by United??

In reply to @footballitalia
has a word for this sort of nonsense ... #Premfacery

The English/EPL press, still pretty awful!

Skellur fyrir bresku pressuna 😂

The taxrate for foreign workers in Italy is quite nice though

Except for the tax concessions... obviously one ignorant Football Journalist.

Someone already beat me to this, but an added incentive of players moving from England to Italy are the new tax benefits.

The law came into effect on January 12th, and it stipulates that athletes only have to pay tax on 50% of their earnings now.

قانون الضرائب الجديد الي عملتة ايطاليا هيرجع الكالشيو تاني الدورى رقم واحد في العالم من حيث تواجد النجوم

There are certain English journalists that are way too pompous. Completely ignorant and oblivious with a dangerous bias towards the continent.

In reply to @footballitalia
Jealous much? The league has it problems but it is a beautiful country and you will enjoy life!

In reply to @footballitalia
Young , giroud , Sanchez all over 30

In reply to @footballitalia
It means serie A wins the battle

In reply to @footballitalia
WTF are you in about? 25-32 is typically a player's peak. Aging is 34> like the MLS signs.

In reply to @footballitalia
Why even waste your time responding to such nonsense?

In reply to @footballitalia
Everybody is ageing, even for the stars, if they are very happy to stay at italian club and decide to have their final payday there, loyal and respect is the main reasons, those two, especially the second one is what they had lack before...

In reply to @footballitalia
Ah another prime example of the ignorance of our media around world football

In reply to @footballitalia
Lmao the fuck are they smokin in their office

In reply to @footballitalia
Who wrote this rubbish

In reply to @footballitalia
Hahahhahaa! Aging? That’s a load of bull.

In reply to @footballitalia
English media at its best.

In reply to @footballitalia
Don’t add up. 26 years and he’ll be 28 next month. pic.twitter.com/4rSFPIVByw

In reply to @footballitalia
At 28 a midfielder is at prime of his career and probably has like 5 more years to play at his peak

In reply to @footballitalia
That would be MLS

In reply to @footballitalia
To me the Serial A is the greatest league I've to admit for some years now the standard has reduced but it's still my favourite

In reply to @footballitalia
The final payday for old stars may be off the mark but let’s not deny the fact that Serie A is now a destination for players that have been struggling to cut the mustard for their respective Premier League sides of late. Sad but true.

In reply to @footballitalia
Eriksen was rumoured to be going to Real Madrid last season and now he is apparently an ageing star. Clearly they know nothing about football.

In reply to @footballitalia
Article from the @TheSun?

In reply to @footballitalia
Haha. This is why players leave England (and princesses)

In reply to @footballitalia
Epl is crap. It’s just a brand and they are bitter that everyone wants to leave. No one wants to stay for brexit and no one wants to play in a one horse league

In reply to @footballitalia
Footballitalia susy campanale > daily mail :D

In reply to @footballitalia
England loves to stick their heads in the sand and not see what is going on, prob an anglo-saxon deficiency, they sold their game out to money

In reply to @footballitalia
You guys get butt hurt over dumb things and are SUPER biased

In reply to @footballitalia
They should just say Inter, as all of them are going there , the rest of the teams have nothing to do with what Inter are doing, poor reporting

In reply to @footballitalia
Hehe and we sold Pepe Reina to EPL was that even mentioned in their conversation? He is 39-40 yrs English analyst are alwys bias.

In reply to @footballitalia
Isn't Ramsey on 300k a week

In reply to @footballitalia
After all the success in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s by Italian clubs, I don’t think Italian pundits went on about how shit English First Division was.

In reply to @footballitalia
Are you guys aware of the new tax law? Inter and Juve can pay huge wages. Should probably know this...

In reply to @footballitalia
The fact that they all play at Inter.....hahahaha.

Of course, watch Eriksen ball out now...shite league.

26 is 'ageing' nowadays 💁‍♂️

Англиските таблоиди, бетер од Македонските

Classic British media ignorance... I don't think anyone who's made the transition has said it is "easier", so why would anyone move somewhere for less wages and a harder days work?

"Ageing stars" - Where do they come up with this crap - Dudes are in their prime.

sebelnya sepakbola Inggris teh gini euy, julid. teu narima ai liga lain bisa lebih ok teh

Ronaldo
Ribery
Zlatan
Begovic
Reina

And I'm sure there's plenty more, yes this is becoming a trend. But it's not necessarily a bad thing.

La gente en Inglaterra se pensiona a los 30 o qué putas?

England is a joke, gross place, gross food, shit soccer

You want them to say “washed up players” instead?

So the English media consider Eriksen and Lukaku as ageing ?
In addition to thinking that players go for lower wages as they grow.

The EPL media and fans might be the most annoying people on earth. The propaganda they start as soon as talent leaves their Arab/Russian money shit place is just amazing. Take the L because Serie A is slowly coming back and we will not forget about this!

Wow, FI with making a good point

I wonder what country published this.

26 and 28 is old now typical British press 🤣🤣

The old fable about the fox and the grapes. #DailyMail #PremierLeague #SerieA #FakeNews
