Dear NFL General Managers:

That Black dude on left is Eric Bieniemy has been the Offensive Coordinator for the NFL’s most prolific offense the last 2 years. Feel free to hire him. pic.twitter.com/lHqFZCyz1T

NFL’s very best available OC (Eric Bieniemy) and best veteran head coach (Jim Caldwell) are Black. Again, Bob Quinn fired Caldwell after going 9-7 to hire his buddy Matt Patricia, 9-22-1 since. Imagine thinking Joe Judge or Zac Taylor is more qualified 🙄 nydailynews.com/sports/footbal…

Jim Caldwell getting fired was a travesty. I still don't understand it, nor do I understand why he doesn't have another head coaching job.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Does Eric come with Mahomes? Caldwell couldn't win with Peyton or Stafford. 9-7 isn't a crowning achievement. Leslie Fraizer on the other hand is a good coach who absolutely should've been hired before someone like Joe Judge 11 out of 10 times.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Not sure if you've been told, but you're the best follow on Twitter. Diverse in subjects. Always got facts to support. Salute sir!

Just proud of the @lions dysfunctional organization. Fire a winning coach when you finally get one then hire a rookie head coach who is making a progress going backwards from winning games.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Yes people tend to forget Jim Caldwell got robbed as a coach and Leslie Frazier . Leslie led the vikes with Christian ponder to the playoffs and has the bills d Playing great .

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Caldwell was horrible...PERIOD

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Patricia is a train wreck but that doesn’t mean Caldwell was good. They seemed like a lock for the playoffs and totally collapsed down the stretch and in large part due to incompetent coaching. Bob Quinn destroyed the decent roster Caldwell had and didn’t do anything with

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Caldwell is definitely underappreciated.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Imagine making this a racist thing

In reply to @ChuckModi1
People that should be head coaches at the beginning of next season but probably won’t be: Bieniemy, Caldwell, and Marvin Lewis.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Imagine thinking “more qualified” is a thing that NFL Execs consider when choosing the face of their franchise. There’s over a hundred guys qualified for 30 jobs. Your resume gets you in the door, but it takes more than a record of success to get the job.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
This thread gives me the rare opportunity to be proud of the Miami Dolphins.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
And the best available defense coordinator is on the 49er sideline tonight.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Caldwell was garbage, blew a 3 game division lead, could have won it for the first time since '93.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
I don’t think anyone has ever said Judge and/Taylor are “more qualified”. The Giants also had a black GM for years so I don’t think that’s a very fair criticism to make.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Does Bieniemy not interview well? What’s the deal with that.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
“locker room facts”

In reply to @ChuckModi1
I'd say Caldwell is debatable. But Eric is 100%. Although tbh I'd almost guarantee that the Chiefs upper office would match and raise any HC offer anyone sent Eric's way. They know they have something special

In reply to @ChuckModi1
The Judge hire was ridiculous. Wanting Rivera, I get. Even wanting McCarthy, I kinda get. Those teams wanted veteran coaches to restore sanity to chaotic situations. For a true rebuild like the Giants, though? Why not bring in a guy who knows exactly what the Eagles run?

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Always about race. Can’t he just be a talented coach?

In reply to @ChuckModi1
So, are you saying its a racial reason he hasn't been hired?

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Def agree with Bieniemy but Caldwell has health issues and had to step away from his position in Miami because of it

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Eagles were rumored to be in on Caldwell for OC, but I read something about his health situation keeping him from pursuing opportunities. Never followed the Lions super closely so idk how true that is, do you know any specifics on that? I was pumped we were looking at him.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
I liked bieniemy as a player. Caldwell kinda blows no matter what race he is. I hope bieniemy gets a shot.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Patricia is a good coach and the lions are on the come up because of him

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Love Coach Bieniemy and while he deserves a head coaching job...as a Chiefs fan...I want him to stay with us.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Nobody cares what race or color they’re, what they care about is whether or not they’re qualified. Bieniemy doesn’t call or design plays. If you want a “black” coach Hugh Jackson is available.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Only positive for judge was special teams coaches have second greatest coaching responsibility under head coach being that they deal wit both sides of ball in terms of players, harbaugh for ravens was a special teams coach and look how that turned out for them

In reply to @ChuckModi1
There was talk that Bengals wanted Bieniemy but he didn't want to work with that front office. Which I don't blame him for. I don't a single educated soul wanted Taylor over him in Cincinnati

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Or imagine thinking Gase deserves a job after getting fired

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Let’s choose the best candidate regardless of color. If they are all black, that’s great. If they are Italian, Hispanic, Australian, amen to them. Putting a quota on it is absurd. With that said, they do deserve the opportunity, but don’t embarrass yourself and mention their race

In reply to @ChuckModi1

In reply to @ChuckModi1
It’s about time someone said it so thank you for being a voice of reason and truth!!!

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Bieniemy is beyond deserving. So many nobody white dudes get a shot b4 guys like this who have the chops to get a shot. It’s not plausible to believe race isn’t playing in some of this.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
I can appreciate your campaign for these coaches but Matt Patricias failure does not justify keeping Jim Caldwell. You’re simply MMQB that argument.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
You can push Beienemy and Caldwell all you want but you don’t have to shit on Judge and Taylor in the process. That’s just petty.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Arizona did Steve wilks dirty too

In reply to @ChuckModi1
THANK YOU FOR THE INFO KIND SIR

In reply to @ChuckModi1
As a Lions fans that firing still baffles me. He had us going in the right direction. One hail marry away from going to the playoffs Caldwell’s second year (I think it’s his second year). Point being that the team has regressed since Caldwell was fired

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Anyone who thinks Jim Caldwell was a good coach doesn’t know shit about football

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Would you shut the fuck up about Jim Caldwell already. He failed as a HC twice. Just because his successor is an even bigger failure than him doesn’t mean he should have a job now. There’s no correlation, you race baiter

In reply to @ChuckModi1
The Dolphins had him in on an interview last year and really liked him. They went with Flores.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Caldwell is a TERRIBLE coach lol. This is laughable 😂😂😂

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Don’t forget Kevin Stephanski

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Would he take a HC job without a playoff caliber QB or a draft pick to get one? I’d sure think twice.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Sorry as a Lions fan, Caldwell should be a hard pass unless average is your goal. He’s not a good head coach. Although you can have Patricia if interested. We’d gladly take a 7th rounder fur him.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
I was with you until Caldwell, that dude has proven himself to be an awful head coach twice now. At least Leslie Frazier and Steve Wilks have only failed once.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Idk why everyone thinks that hiring Joe Judge is such a bad move. We haven’t even seen what he can do yet. He has worked under two of the best coaches of all time and they both say he is a great coach who really knows football. Why don’t we wait before criticizing Joe Judge.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Is Eric bieniemy actively trying to be hired as a head coach?

In reply to @ChuckModi1
NFLs very best available OC is Greg Roman.

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Sure every job passed him up this year. Down the road You may look back at teams passing him up and be thankful. Need to be put in the right position to succeed and outside the cowboy job, every other opening was a dumpster fire. Will be better off landing in the right situation

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Joe judge who had worked under belichick and Saban for 8 years is not qualified?? Why since he is white? If he was black you would say he is qualified. Why does race have to even be brought up teams are not avoiding them because of fricken race. The majority of the team is black

In reply to @ChuckModi1
You never know with Joe Judge but 1000% agree with you on Zac Taylor

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Damn im sure youre a lot of fun at parties, everything has to be about race... Mike Tomlin still has a job, Ron Rivera was hired. So can i make an argument about Brian Flores having a job as head coach because affirmative action. Took a 7-9 team to 5-11?

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Brian Flores & Anthony Lynn? How are they stacking up on your board, i see your argument failed to address them? What about Hue Jackson? Maybe we live in a society where people hire people based on merit not race?

In reply to @ChuckModi1
How many times do people have to hear it. NFL exes are going to pick the guy they like best regardless of past experience regardless of race. If the giants think that Joe Judge can win them a Super Bowl and Biebiemy can’t then they’ll hire the guy they think can. Jesus christ

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Don't get me started on the Lions... if I could buy the team from Ms. Ford, I would... for $1. pic.twitter.com/3m2lSkTaer

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Also lovie smith and duce Staley are out there

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Woah Woah Woah ,,,, Us Giants fans happy with Joe Judge,, nd we picked up a black Defense Coordinator since its all about race wit yu guys lol .. but homie from chiefs should get opportunity for sure but GMan good

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Caldwell was out all last year with a health issue. Has he recovered?

In reply to @ChuckModi1
Christ...Hasn't anybody learned that black coaches do not work. Others carry them and they look good. Get Kafka. The good part is the Eagles might be waiting for Kafka and using Caldwell as a smoke screen

Jim Caldwell is absolutely HORRIFIC coach. lmfao. stop that bullshit.

Caldwell proved he is a mediocre HC with the Colts and Lions. He should never get another HC job. If a team is comfortable with Bieniemy’s past behavior, his on field product deserves a shot.

Dude said Jom Caldwell lol
