This is pretty incredible
the ISO bags were nearly identical. honestly, in the history of anything, sport/art/what-have-you, you can't really point to a more significant example of someone mimicking their idol and excelling more than this.
This was pretty great

I’m blocking every single person with replying with something stupid about this video just to say something, bc what the fck is WRONG with y’all?
I’d seen this video before but wow. Still amazing the second time

At the time, I thought “he just wants to be like Mike.” But I realized Kobe recognized greatness, and did everything in his power to be great as well. And when you look at videos of Gianna, she moved just like her dad 🥺
This is one of the most remarkable sports videos I've ever seen .. #RIPKobe

Mamba out but never forgotten. Walk together Angel's! Kobe and Gianna Bryant 💞
Absolutely amazing
This is fucking awesome.
In reply to @naima was a Jordanian teenager living in Egypt who’d stay up til 5:30am to watch Kobe games. I interviewed him in 2012. Crazy how sports can span generations, continents, worlds. 🙏…
I always thought that Kobe and Mike had the same body type, body language, and killer "mamba" mentality. This clip really showcases what I have always thought. Imagine a 1 on 1 in their respective primes?

#KobeBryant / #Jordan

that first mj fade-away is rt in my mouth
This is an unbelievable video
In reply to @naima
Perfect This should be on a loop in the hall or fame
I've watched this so many times, it really is remarkable how closely they played the game. Bryant was like a clone of MJ.
semplicemente splendido...
#KobeBryant
The man was almost a carbon copy of his airness
Sports editing academy award goes to ...

Old video, been around for a while, but really shows you how much he patterned his game after MJ. Such a tragedy.
In reply to @naima
He clearly shared innate characteristics with, and also was a student of, Michael. That right leg kick out...

Editors don’t get the respect they deserve
this is impressive as hell
Da se naježiš...👏👏👏👏
Le grand et le petit frère #KobeRIP
Absolutely incredible.
You study somebody long enough you eventually become a better clone of them. Most interesting thing about human beings is how deep being inspired by someone really goes
My heart aches and mind spins but prayers going up for the entire Bryant family, friends, team mates and all who he touched! You will be missed brother! #MambaOut #RestInHeavenlyPeaceKobeAndGigi 😔💔
Kobe’s game mirrored MJ’s in so many ways. This is an awesome look at it.
In reply to @naima
Hey Naima, I believe @YoussefHannoun is the force behind this amazing bit of editing.
In reply to @naima
Also, what @SteveKerr says in this video 💪🏀🌎💔🖤
This is kinda mind blowing.
Whoever cut this edit needs a raise and a smooch. Holy smokes, this is gorgeous.
I’ve been thinking about this all evening. I’m glad someone dig it up.
#NBA #RIP
This is striking! Great edit
It was SCARY... how he got him down cold.
This edit is cold. Greatness 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
In reply to @naima
In reply to @naima
Kobe was MJ 2.0, a better shooter and defender in my opinion.
Best two mins of your day
Incredibile montaggio e incredibile giocatore. Ciao #KobeBraynt #MambaForever
Wow! You’re not lying. This is an amazing edit and amazing video.
This is UNBELIEVEABLY fantastic!!!!
In reply to @naima
Jordan was the most talented basketball player I've ever seen. The man who emulated his game after MJ is the 2nd most talented player I've ever seen. Both legends. And this video is sick
This is amazing. Great work.
In reply to @naima
Kobe modeled his game after Mike, and why not? Many people have tried and failed. We all did it playing on the driveway or on the courts. Kobe didn't just mimic Mike's moves, he imbibed his work ethic too. Making shots is easy, being consistently great is not. #MambaMentality
Remember the phrase "I wanna be like Mike"? This footage of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant is crazy!
This is amazing. Wow.
For a long time after he first came into the league, I didn't like Kobe because I felt like he was just an MJ copycat. But over time, I grew to admire Kobe a his own amazing talent. He is the only other I've seen with anything close to MJ's killer instinct. #RIPMamba
This is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.
This is absolutely insane...
Kids born in the 80’s had Jordan. Kids born in the 90’s had Kobe.
this is actually insane
In reply to @naima
Just another example of his work ethic. He studied Jordan’s film and practiced each situation with such precision that he, essentially, became his idol.
Could watch this all day
This is really cool
jestli ti neukapla slza tak nemáš srdce
This is freaky Michael Jordan drew up the blue print and only one man could use it #KobeBraynt
In reply to @naima
Now do the final edit with his daughter.
MJ/Kobe mix. Must watch.
Absolute CHILLS.....this is soooo well done. Try not to get choked up....if you watched either of these men play growing up, you will be in your feelings.....…
