The part about submitting a resume and cover letter with the same information in the application speaks to me.

My son knows people who are desperate for work, and have applied to places with signs like these. They can't even get an interview. This is a scam. They are probably getting gov. money.

The United States of America federal government requires a wage of at least $2.13 per hour be paid to employees who receive at least $30 per month in tips.

I feel like whoever wrote this is actually on the workers鈥 side 馃槀馃槶

If this establishment has more than 10 other locations, I鈥檇 bet they鈥檝e had to settle wage or time theft lawsuits from min wage employees. The business model for chain restaurants is to pay as little as possible, and then steal what they can from those employees.

We are literally 鈥榞enerally striking鈥 rn b/c fck these ppl

*smashes fists on desk*
GENERAL STRIKE!

is this not satire written by someone who quit?

Whoever put this on the window definitely quit the same day as well 馃槶

Lmao love this job description

They're never going to find anyone that's willing to go through that for those wages. If you're paying under $20 an hour and you require a resume and a cover letter, nobody's going to bite. People like to be paid fairly, go fig

Shit I wouldn鈥檛 won鈥檛 to work either, 5 years of experience with outdated system just to get paid $11..... kiss my black ass

Nah.. this came from an employee who absolutely had ENOUGH

I love seeing these.

Think of this when you see orchard owners on the news crying about their fruit going unpicked

Just got my second $11/hr job that I've ever had a few months ago, and felt so blessed that it was in a restaurant. First job with wages like that was a factory

Same as 鈥 X doesn鈥檛 want to fight鈥

Hey appreciate the transparency... but nah 馃拃馃槀

In reply to @Your_Pal_Billy
Yeah, everyone deserves to make $69/hr, high on meth. Don鈥檛 need to know your name, fuck experience, you don鈥檛 even need to show up. Here鈥檚 health insurance and a 2020 Honda Civic with a full tank of gas and a gun. If anyone talks to you shoot them in the face, you are a king.

it's cool of the bosses to just come out and say all that

Whoever wrote this is probably why everyone fuckin quit.

Work and travel people ago smile this summer 馃槀

I love seeing the country fall when all they have to do is raise the wage to accommodate living standards for everyone

Idk why but I get a joy outta seeing these notes up

In reply to @Your_Pal_Billy
Only not desperate enough to pay a living wage so their employees can AFFORD to work there.

Well. How many service and hospitality employees died because they couldn鈥檛 get off to go to a dr?

Or afford to take a weekend off?

I have a lot of feels about this.

this is exactly what it鈥檚 like

LMAO this is funny bc it's actually how it is

I never understood the point of 鈥減ersonality鈥 tests for potential retail or restaurant workers. It鈥檚 pointless and a waste of money for the company, money better utilized to retain employees.

They are short everywhere though. My job is short like 7 nurses and even more CNAs. It鈥檚 crazy out here.
