In Yemen, I was forced to wear the hijab at the age of six and the niqab around thirteen, and when decided to take off the niqab, half of my family abandoned me, and then when I took off the hijab and the abaya, I lost everything. 馃憞馃従

In Canada I was forced in hijab at 9, niqab at 19. I was disowned & threatened w death because I chose what to wear on my body. In the West I鈥檓 told sharing my story will cause Islamophobia. I鈥檓 a woman from Mid East and I鈥檓 scared of Islamic ideology. Let us talk. #FreeFromHijab pic.twitter.com/cjG6QX2Z0h

I was subjected to a disciplinary board and an investigation by the University Security Department, and I was expelled from the university housing, and threatened on the street by extremists and racists. 馃憞馃従 #FreeFromHijab

I have never figured out why this is not considered a women鈥檚 rights issue. For women that want to wear them, I support them. My gut says many are coerced into wearing them.

I agree. Wearing fabric should be a choice, not forced on anyone.

Bericht voor alle islamfascisme-heulers:
Zo 'vrijwillig' is dat dus....

Een ideologie die ideologie/geloofs-afval de facto* bestraft, dat IS een sekte!

*zie Lale G眉l, zie alle islamitische landen!

Links praat zelfs het lidmaatschap v/e sekte nog goed
(cognitieve dissonantie!)

*Moves to USA .... Insists on being able to wear hijab while swimming in pool at local YMCA.... #acivism

Liberal women wouldn't understand about this Muslim woman's story and background. Some American liberals never understood what it means to be 'Force to their own will' in the Muslim world.
