'Once they're in Rwanda they won't be brought back to the UK.'

The UN High Commission for Refugees' Acting Representative to the UK Larry Bottinick says he's 'not surprised, but saddened' by the government exporting asylum seekers to Rwanda.

@mrjamesob Once there, they’ll up sticks and wend their way back to Calais. And so the roundabout begins. Just think if it were your family being uprooted and deported to say, Baltimore!

Omg stop ! LBC , have not stopped all day ! It’s what the people want . Protecting our borders and deterring people traffickers . They will be safe in Rwanda in a growing and welcoming economy. How is it barbaric or draconian. LBC has become the voice of the opposition

They are not asylum seekers, they are illegal immigrants.

In reply to @LBC
“Illegal” migrants will be dealt with this way. All refugees applying via legal routes will still be dealt with here. This should stop those economic migrants entering the UK illegally.
