If @AlboMP is serious about bipartisanship in Indigenous policy he needs to get the facts right. @KenWyattAM delivered additional funding to increase NT voter enrolment. Voter suppression has never been our policy and never will be.
Last year the Coalition delivered an additional $9.4m to the AEC to expand successful programs for additional enrolment and participation the NT. This comment is either unforgivably ignorant, woefully ill-informed, or a blatant lie. Which one @AlboMP?

It sure looks like it is. Why else the Lib rubbish about voter ID when you know voter fraud is minuscule?

Only $0.3 million seems to have been actually spent. Are you saying that is incorrect?

Well you failed, 33% didn’t vote, you failed a lot of things in the last 9 years. Trillion dollar debt crisis for one.

If @JulianLeeser is serious about not being another useless lying Liberal, he needs to get his facts right. Only $300,000 was delivered, and electoral staff in NT has dropped from 60 in 2013 to 23 in 2022. And Indigenous enrollment down to 79% But ohno, its not voter suppression

@AlboMP is absolutely right. Your party pushed for the introduction of Voter ID laws, which would have severely impacted remote indigenous communities. Many Aboriginal voters would've been suppressed.

It was straight out of a US right-wing playbook.
