There's an opinion piece by Dominic Lawson saying "Voters want honesty", but there's nothing in it about Brexit or any other policy for that matter. Quite a feat.

@rolandmcs @ShippersUnbound I reckon loads of Tory Remainers were. They were nearly all Eurosceptics in opposition and until Cameron came up with his new deal. But they followed their leader and probably thought resigning from Cabinet was too risky, and that Remain would win.
@rolandmcs @ShippersUnbound It's often forgotten how far the 2016 vote was a contest *between* Eurosceptics. The Remain campaign was led by lifelong Eurosceptics like Cameron, Osborne & Hammond, & made an overtly Eurosceptic case for staying in. It was explicitly pitched at "reasonable sceptics" like Truss.
