Would you share showers to save energy?

That's what a government official in Switzerland has suggested as a top energy-saving tip.

Maybe you already do it.

Or does the idea horrify you?

Make the rich shareholders pay up seems a better plan at the moment. You won't catch them sharing showers, totally absurd idea. Blaming ordinary people for high energy costs is unfair. Tories have done little for climate crisis.

It wouldn't work - when I shower its a pretty quick process, but if I showered with my fella we would most likely be in there a lot longer lol 馃槈

In my experience, sharing showers with a g/f takes much longer, you tend to indulge in activities other than washing, if you know what I mean!

I only shower twice a week and save the water in a large bucket. Use it in the garden.

And share cooking meals with your neighbours. I adore my neighbours but I鈥檓 going back to burning coal. It鈥檚 cheaper and right now, while it hits the pocket hard, it鈥檚 actually cheaper. It鈥檚 cheaper to own a diesel car too. When things become affordable鈥︹︹︹

What other rubbish are you going to suggest? If it鈥檚 yellow let it mellow & if it鈥檚 brown let it mellow?

Having lived years on a boat it's time that's crucial. Old mixer tap ones you can get heads with an off switch. 10mins is excessive, 5 mins better 2 mins good.
