Ms Widdecombeconveniently forgets is that if left to the Tory’s we would never have had the NHS & in every term in Government since 1951 they have under minded it & underfunded it till 2020 when Covid showed it’s inability to cope with Crisis which Jeremy Hunt knew in 2016😡😷

Notice you never mention 1997 when after 18 years of Tories the NHS was on it’s knees! After the Labour government of Blair and Brown it was one of the top healthcare systems in the world and now after 12 years of Tories it’s in trouble again! It’s not hard to work out!

This ladies Brexit caused 22,000 Europeans to go back to Europe these were doctors nurses healthcare professionals😡

There’s nothing wrong with the NHS that can’t be fixed with adequate funding. Don’t suggest we need to start again. That’s like suggesting demolishing your house because it needs a new boiler and there weeds in the garden. We all know what your solution would be. Now, go away.

The NHS was & is being deliberately failed so Tories can make an excuse to privatise it. It worked very well before they were made the custodians. It can work again if they fund it properly. £30 billion was cut from the NHS budget this year alone. Let's try not to forget this!

Need to get rid of privatisation in the NHS, pay workers in it properly, employ a lot more doctors, nurses, etc

Two years and we get a vote! The current health minister doesn’t have a clue! What’s her plan of action? It seems to be, force GPs to work more hours or else? What is she doing about recruiting doctors and nurses? It seems she has no idea of the current problems!

It would look like how it was designed. Doctors, nurses and matrons in charge, and the moneymen kicked out never to be replaced

I once read that the tax evaded by big business could pay the nhs and the benefits bill together...how true I don't know, but it makes you wonder

I remember as a teen having to wake my parents in the middle of the night to call a GP for my little sister who woke me up in pain. Back then they'd pick up, attend and prescribe. Now it's two weeks and very late vaccine invitations for the most susceptible.

If we stopped paying the doctors for doing injections that do not stop infection or transmission and left that to the nurses, then the doctors could get on with their real job. I am sure the nurses would be grateful for the extra cash. @theresecoffey

The most fundamental question that I have is, how do you hope to retain any creditability for your programme when you keep rolling out irrelevant right wing relics like Widdecombe? I, and many others, have not a single jot of interest in anything that she has to say.

The abuse of the benefits system is unbelievable, some ppl are just very good actors. Foreigners they get their pensions transferred from their countries whilst claiming the full amount of benefits, it’s my tax money I have the right to get angry at these ppl
