Can the government get us out this economic mess?

The Bank of England has warned we're probably already in a recession, and the Chancellor will announce his plans to boost the economy this morning.

Will it be enough?

No such thing as trickle down- we're being HAD again! Everyone is on strike- because the fat cats at the top are NOT trickling down. Wealthy people/businesses do not trickle down, they pay themselves more, expect people to work for less and don't share any profits with Employees.

The government has thought by handing responsibility for the pound to the Bank of England they could do whatever reckless nonsense they wanted and nothing could go wrong. Well it has all gone horribly wrong and the Bank has had its eye off the ball at the same time.

Not convinced by Liz Truss. I think the windfall tax may have helped, then cut all the unnecessary stuff like foreign aid and hotels for illegal immigrants. We can't give money away any more. Cut green levies in the short to medium term.

Id hope so it is their job.
