One time I asked my aunt, why didn’t she move to south London when her work is there. She then replied, ‘why would I leave Nigeria to then and and live in Nigeria , sho ti ye e ?’

This is actually common in any country with a significant Nigerian diaspora. Judging from the suya spot, they're in a Little Africa-esque neighborhood. Come to an African neighborhood in New York, DC, Houston or even Chicago on the 4th of July. You'll see the same thing.

God created most Yoruba people for entertainment and humor.
When I first came to London, the first place I went to was Woolwich to meet up one Nigerian guy that sends money. The PTSD that caught me when I started hearing random people speaking Yoruba and seeing people selling puff puff is unforgettable.
