I see few people who look like me in most cyber meetings and conferences I attend. The good news is that with the 700K open cyber jobs, we have an opportunity to build a more diverse cyber workforce. If we are serious about it, we can help make meaningful and lasting change.
To build a more diverse cyber workforce, employers have to recruit talent from a variety of educational institutions, including community colleges, technical colleges, and apprenticeship programs. Many cyber jobs pay well and don’t require a college degree!
