There is no credible plan to tackle inflation or help Australians with the cost of living right now.

Labor promised Australians they 鈥榳ould be better off under a Labor government鈥. But in actual fact, by Christmas, a typical Australian family will be at least $2,000 worse off.

Hey @SenatorHume, don't lecture us on financial management. Instead of showing some humility and retracting your defamatory comments, you instead had the audacity to pass the costs to taxpayers. pic.twitter.com/j9ZJYmOHnj

Electricity prices were forecast to go up under your government but you hid the report from the voters. Typical LNP deception and lies.

Liberals sold off public utilities to private profit making businesses. No real wage growth in 9 years of coalition government. What a nerve you have.

In reply to @SenatorHume
Who鈥檚 fault is that ? The LNP broke the economy.

As a result of 10yrs of inaction and LNP incompetence:

So hard to follow 9 years of LNP leading the way for the corporations and wringing dry those who actually do the work. Thanks for laying out the state that you guys left our country in. It was your own treasurer in March that showed debt and deficits for decades into the future.

Let's talk about the #ElectricityPricRises that were deferred and hidden from the public and voters until after the Federal Election, shall we? The cost of Living was already going up after 9 years of an incompetent Liberal National Coalition Government, weren't they?

In reply to @SenatorHume
This would have happened under your government too!

In reply to @SenatorHume
Yes because your boy Morrison and his no substance colleagues have failed year on year to have regulations and structures in place to manage this. We are here now because of the government you were part of.Renewable is cheaper but your government would not invest, plan promote it

Are you truly saying that pressure on energy costs has emerged only in the last 5 months? Are you saying that, despite the evidence that you knew you had lost control of energy prices but kept it secret, the energy cost pressures are Labor's fault? Stop treating us like fools!
