This guy was in every print ad back in the day. He'd do outrageous shit like calling TRUCK STOP WOMEN "a masterpiece! Rush to the theater now!"
Ah, man. This is gonna fucking haunt me today.

Who had "Insincere Movie Critic" on their "Things That Haunt Stephen King" Bingo Card?

In reply to @StephenKing
Mr king, respectfully i say the more i begin to read your tweets the more i see an intolerant undesirable side of you. My ability to remain a fan is being tested by your outbursts. Sincerely. Dr D

Sounds like Gene Shalit. He did a ton of ads at the height of his career.

I mean, whoever this critic was, he wasn鈥檛 wrong about TRUCK STOP WOMEN.

One of my favorite reviews of all time was "Maximum Overdrive was directed by cocaine". Fairly certain that quote came from the actual director.

Forgive me. Guy who says he鈥檚 Stephen King. It鈥檚 entirely inappropriate for you to suggest anything is going to 鈥渉aunt鈥 you.

Just a suggestion but have you tried looking here: archive.org The Wayback Machine is also there and you can search in many ways for what you're looking for. Ads from mags, newspapers & TV can all be found there. Hope this helps - plz post who he was.

, you鈥檙e thinking of Earl Dittman of Wireless Magazines (not a real publication). EFilmCritic had a series of articles about the top quite whores of the year, and Dittman used to regularly vy with Shawn Edwards for the top spot.

I never paid attention to movie critics because they never seem to actually be honest. IMBD though, lists the worst film critics in their opinions... Not sure how valuable it is. imdb.com/list/ls0584909鈥

From a writer stand point. No one knows what they hell your talking about. Lmao .. #cringe with all that fame and money you would think you could make sense. Put down the pen your done.

In reply to @StephenKing
The film is still freely available on IMDB鈥檚 鈥淔reevee鈥 streaming service. I have a feeling it may be worth watching for the late Claudia Jennings alone, if nothing else. I guess I still have a penchant for drive in movies or exploitation films.
