I think Elon Musk is a visionary. Almost singlehandedly, he鈥檚 changed the way Americans think about automobiles. I have a Tesla and love it. That said, he鈥檚 been a terrible fit for Twitter. He appears to be making it up as he goes along.

both played no role in making tesla what it is today

Can we be adults and recognize these 3 facts? 1. Those two men deserve credit for inventing Tesla. 2. Elon Musk deserves credit for scaling Tesla to behemoth levels. 3. Both of those things are 1,000x more impressive than anything Kirstin Osgood has ever done.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
We鈥檝e debunked this myth. Tesla was a shell company with absolutely no assets. Martin wasn鈥檛 a founder. Check this out: Elon Musk on the Early Days of Tesla: Interview Part 1 youtu.be/AeeeEDSekG8

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Both have publicly stated Tesla wouldn鈥檛 be anywhere near where it is without Elon.

To further prove your point, I'll go ahead and drop this here pic.twitter.com/4IEvDp1Lf0

In reply to @kirstinosgood
And you never would have heard of them or their car if Musk didn鈥檛 invest in the company and eventually take it over. You know this, but it鈥檚 trendy to bash success these days.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
These guys created a company in 2003 that Elon invested 6.5 millions in 2004 and became CEO in 2008. I think it is fair to say that Tesla is what it is today under Elon.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
He never said Musk created Tesla, he said he changed how people think of electric cars. He has. He is a good marketer.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Small secret: It doesn't matter I'm not an elon fan, I just find the debate ridiculous. Almost anyone can start up a company, but not anyone can navigate hurdles and make it grow and succeed. Where are the two founders? What companies did they grow successfully?

Lies, it was a shell company with no product鈥nly a name

Shame on you鈥ishonest

In reply to @kirstinosgood
There have been many companies started by mediocre people then turned into something truly extraordinary by somebody else who is just straight up better

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Yes, founders that would鈥檝e led the company to bankruptcy unless Elon took over

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Original roadster was the only Tesla I have ever been interested in

In reply to @kirstinosgood
How many successful companies have those two founded in the last 20 years?

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Hasn't this been debunked 1000x?

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Yes, and a caveman founded the wheel but he didn't do much with it. Did he?

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Incorrect ! A Serbian mother created Tesla

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Now do the founders of the US. Since you reject significant contributions of others.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Well aware Elon didn鈥檛 invent Tesla. The same for Steve Jobs didn鈥檛 invent folders, xerox did. But if it wasn鈥檛 for them probably we wouldn鈥檛 know Tesla and wouldn鈥檛 have folders in our PC. Same applies to Ray Kroc. No McDonald without him.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
That doesn't matter. There is a big difference between having a concept and a production ready model. The concept of EV is known already from 1900. It was Elon making a success of Tesla! The best engine possible, the best battery,...

In reply to @kirstinosgood
They had bankrupted the company and designed an inferior product.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
And? Did they put the work in to make it way at it is now? No, Elon made the Tesla what it is today. Same reason why you all still use Twitter

In reply to @kirstinosgood
But that's a picture of a Ferrari? 馃槅

In reply to @kirstinosgood
A good example of how far Tesla has come since Elon took over. Exciting to see if he can do the same for twitter.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
That Tesla didn鈥檛 make EV and they sold the name . Welcome to America

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Now ask yourself why nobody knows who they are but instead know Elon鈥檚 name around the world and you鈥檒l know why Elon IS Tesla.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Lmao I鈥檒l never get a shitty EV

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Elon took it to the next level.

Everyone knows they deserve respect for starting Tesla but they couldn鈥檛 make into a viable business until Musk鈥檚 vision and money took the company in a different direction.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
How many cars did Tesla produce before @elonmusk came along?

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Yeah, they have the name and nothing working yet鈥攂ig achievement.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Haters being cringe 24/7

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Everyone knows their names. Duh. They made tesla wildly popular, it was a multi billion doller company in the green before wlon took ownership. Duuh

In reply to @kirstinosgood
made it a successful company, in case you didn't realize that.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
They were there to help it start they were not there for the last dozens of years as it becomes what it is today that's totally for sure

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Research the term visionary. King is bang on with that description

In reply to @kirstinosgood
You鈥檙e trolling Elon Musk. 馃槀

In reply to @kirstinosgood
made Tesla a success.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Do you know what Room did to make Tesla what it is there is a reason those twos names are never brought up? Elon didn't have any money either at the time.

In reply to @kirstinosgood

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Lots of people have ideas and lots of people invent things. Scaling them to success is a whole different ballgame.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
They invented the car, but without Musk's seed capital, it wouldn't have happened. He was their first investor.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Without Elon, Tesla would鈥檝e been one of many bankrupt companies. Do your research!

Musk wasn't the inventor, just brought it to market.

Those two did nothing but make an non functional prototype 馃槶馃槶馃槶 do you know what it takes to make a product revolutionary, profitable and the highest valued in the industry?

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Elon Musk singlehandedly invented the electric car, the space ship, tunnels, social media, the iPhone, and Reardon Steel.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Nobody is saying Elon invented Tesla, he's the one that brought Tesla to what it is today

In reply to @kirstinosgood
They founded it, Elon made it what it is. He will do the same with Tweeter.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Cant like this photo enough

In reply to @kirstinosgood
But who鈥檚 the boss

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Nothing new in the business world. Happens all the time.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Did they do anything with tesla or did it take the might of @elonmusk to make them successful?

In reply to @kirstinosgood
It was literally failing under their leadership. Musk completely turned that company around.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
You give Elon too much credit. He's an opportunistic businessman, that's it.

Elon made it better, you know.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
So those two nobodies started Tesla, is was a small obscure struggling company and the. asking bought it and turned it into what it is today. Makes you wonder how far he can take a company that ISNT in shambles before he applies his approach to it. But it looks like we will see.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
They founded a disaster that Elon turned into what it is today. Try research.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
What did they do, sell? What are they doing now?

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Are you the last to know?! Everyone knows that... is it supposed to taint his rep or something? libs used to ride his dick all day long for his electric car etc... now that he's giving free speech back to people the media told you to hate him and like good puppets you all do ...

In reply to @kirstinosgood
While Elon only found it.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Where's JB Staubel, Ian Wright, and Elon Musk?

In reply to @kirstinosgood
listen i hate musk just as much as the next person but do your research instead of just screenshotting and reposting, this took me two seconds to find鈥 pic.twitter.com/EnWWD3ldDy

In reply to @kirstinosgood
That鈥檚 racist, it was not founded by white people.

I can't think of who they may be talking about.馃馃 Some kind of extra long weasel probably.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Try actually reading a damn book about Musk and Tesla. You might learn something. If you're capable of learning anything that goes against your programming.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
They started it, we're failing miserably until Elon came and taught them how to push the limits. He pissed them off too and look how Tesla has performed

In reply to @kirstinosgood
So what鈥檚 new that happens almost every where duh馃ぁ

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Lol...when speech is free but it cuts like a knife. Let's see how much dirt can be dug up in the name of freedom of speech. Self made my ass..

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Most people who believes in this narrative doesn鈥檛 know t-zero if they don鈥檛 look it up 馃し鈥嶁檪锔

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Yes. And in the same way Musk has elevated Tesla from unknown to what we know today, he'll hopefully do the same for Twitter. Or he'll just kill it. I'm fine with either.

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Except Musk bought the company in 2008, back when no one knew what Tesla was. So yes, he is 100% responsible for what it is today

In reply to @kirstinosgood
Yeah and it was practically bankrupt!
