Absolute truth from my friend @arthurbrooks
“93% of 🇺🇸 said they hate how divided we’ve become as a country. The other 7%, those are the activists that say if you buy a Tesla it means you believe in hate speech, it’s completely absurd & is totally bullying.” - Arthur Brooks

Well we would like for the invaders (The GOP) to stop making war against other people's cultures who are just as American as any other Americans. I seem to remember that Corporations are "People" to the GOP. Stop engaging in culture wars that make brands dump you.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
The culture wars are coming from the Right. Musk did not enter into the rightwing culture wars because an employee convinced him. Musk did not offer Putin's version of peace bc of an employee. AEI is a rightwing propaganda outlet that is engaged in the rightwing culture wars.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
I’d rather walk than own a Tesla. I guess that makes me a bully.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Activists are bullying coworkers inside corporate America? Who's accountable for that? Where's the research around that?

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
This makes no sense from someone that was on Jan 6 committee and has first hand knowledge of what's dividing the country

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
im less likely to buy a tesla because their driverless tech sucks and id prefer to buy an ev from a company that has strong manufacturing quality

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Don't paint broad brush. It's activists who brought attention to civil rights, helped end apartheid, bring awareness to injustice and abuse etc...since people comfortably in power tend to have blinders on sometimes.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Meh. Activists progress society. If it wasn’t for activism, slavery would still exist, women couldn’t vote, children would be working 80 hours a week, etc. Because government is so ineffective now at addressing regressive tyranny, corporations, ironically, are the only means.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Not bullying. Principles. @arthurbrooks is just showing unabashed allegiance to his conservative roots which is fine but labeling those who are against: hate speech; manipulating through lies; & being ok with Putin as anything but astute seems illogical at best.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
I wouldn't buy a Tesla as they are cheaply made as possible. They are noisy, too close to the ground, and Musk is totally distracted with Twitter. He's only one guy that wants to run the whole show. Something has to give. He's not keeping up, other EVs have already surpassed him

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
I'd say 7% are saying it's time for the righteous to kill all the non-christians.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
In this equation where are the far right maga? Did I miss something?

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
And why would I give Elon Musk a dime?

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
I won't buy a Tesla because relatives were almost killed when autopilot engaged unexpectedly and WOULD NOT disengage crashing them into an embankment. It wasn't the first problem with autopilot and they're not the only ones filing suit - by far.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Dude, recognize yourself in their conversation

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
I think Arthur has a bias here. He doesn't mention that DeSantis is pulling $2 billion in Florida pension investments from Blackrock because he doesn't like Blackrock's use of ESG factors in its investments.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
100%.... Elon definitely says some goofy things but that doesn't take away that Tesla has ushered in an era of EVs which is a good thing for the world. Progressives, will hate him no matter what

I’m not worried about 7% corporate cancel culture. I’m more worried about the % of Nazi and white nationalist going up and infiltrating our government.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
he's right -- the 80/20 rule applies. the extreme 10% on far left and far right are off the rails. I refused to buy a tesla because I think elon musk sucks as a human, and i've thought this for years. bought audi EV and loving it. Teslas finishes are chintzy.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Those few % and those who attack the few % have a symbiotic relationship. Both Josh Hawley and Khiara Bridges benefit from this kind of dumb conflict. youtube.com/watch?v=kgfQks…

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Yeah, you're wrong. Cars are statements. Anybody that owns a Tesla is sending a message whether they intend to or not. If you're driving a Tesla, I'm not referring any work your way. If you think Tesla = status, you are wrong.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Only if you buy a NEW Tesla.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Buy a Tesla and let the battery explode in your garage😈

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
For me, a car is a large enough purchase that knowing how distasteful Elon is as a human being, not to mention how he screwed over the real founders of the company, even if Tesla was as good as the other EVs coming out now, I just wouldn't want to give Tesla my business.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
@AdamKinzinger RT'D this and said he agrees with @authurbrooks - Forget Adam helped drive the culture/cancel war helping in the creation of it. Adam is willing to cancel 1/2 the American people & is the prime example of a Politician who is also an activist.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Don't BS and try to give CEOs a pass that they are not aware of this intimidation.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
To people saying Kinzinger is turning a blind eye to right wing crazies with this comment, he's one of the biggest proponents of Jan 6th committee. R's are basically pushing him out of office because he's NOT a nutcase. An introspective crazy check by left isn't a bad thing.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Both things can be simultaneously true. I can love my Tesla and I can also think Elon is an a-hole with a terrible management style.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
I’m guessing that a lot of the liberals driving Teslas will buy something else after this one explodes.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
No it's not bullying, it's simply deciding not to buy a car, from a guy who is helping promote hate speech.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
2% bullying 98% makes sense.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
The truth is that if people like @elonmusk and other CEO's would shut the fuck up and stop buying politians for their own good the activists really wouldn' have much to discuss would they? We need to take the money out of politics.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Don't forget, our supreme court has already established that money is speech.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Elon is not my favorite person. I wouldn’t buy a Tesla from him. My hubby will.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
So you're against economic boycotts? And you're in the GOP? Check your party's history my friend.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
I’m surprised you could even spell the word truth. It’s not part of your B moral compass.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
I wouldn't buy a Tesla from day one. Consumer Affairs rates them very low on CS. Owners in my area tend to be posers who drive like entitled jerks. I've considered them douchemobiles all along. Recent events only prove the attitude comes from the top. The racism's no surprise.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Consumers often will make choices based upon their attitude toward a celebrity endorser. Musk is a celebrity. So consumers are making choices based, at least in part, upon their attitude towards Musk.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Sorry, Adam. This is made up stuff. If 93% say they hate the division, 95% blame those they disagree with. Corporations, granted extended life with limited liability, originally had a societal component in exchange for those favors. Forgetting that duty is itself political.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
Boycotting has been around forever. Nothing new here. Also, you're fired. Get over the jingos.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
CNBC is my main source of information on the pulse of the country and the 🌎 because they talk about economy as it is without political juggling.

In reply to @AdamKinzinger
You love the divide, Adam. That’s why you and your fellow democrats spread it!!
