If you have an all day event with attendees in multiple time zones, at what hour does the event actually start?

The Temporal API can’t land in browsers fast enough.

Know that feeling man. It was one of my first tasks when joining a small ERP company a few years ago. Now imagine correlate the events with several tax calendars from the country government. Nightmare!

Ah yes, recurrence, time zones, non-Gregorian calendars, iCal (the RFC), exceptions to recurrence, time zones (more), “location” fields, meeting requests & email providers (multipart, attachment, all of the above, ???). I’m sure there are a few things I’ve blocked out about it.

Built a custom calendar for a women’s mobile app… I can attest to this. Building a calendar with events is not an easy task.

Here I thought I was the only one who thought calendars were awful.

Scheduling systems are insidious due to their apparent simplicity
