78 years ago today over 7,000 prisoners of the German Nazi camp #Auschwitz, including some 700 children, were liberated by the soldiers of the Soviet Army. 1,689 days of murder, pain, suffering, and humiliation were over. Today we all remember. We must remember. | #Auschwitz78

We owe it to everyone who lost their lives to ensure our children are educated on this, so it never happens again….
Dear @UNGeneva wants to respect for the Holocaust in 1942 but is Doing NOTHING to stop #TigrayGenocide in 2023 Which is killing more than #800K

Auschwitz and the Holocaust started with lies, racism and a political agenda! ALWYS REMEMBER because too many have already forgotten!
Today is International #HolocaustRemembrance Day.

We remember so that we will recognize the evil when it advances – and stamp it out before it takes hold.

Today and always, we must stand united against antisemitism, bigotry and hatred. #WeRemember
“The road to Auschwitz was built by hate, but paved with indifference.” (Ian Kershaw). I visited Auschwitz in 2017. I will never forget. #Auschwitz78 #Auschwitz #LestWeForget

We forget, at our own peril, the repeated barbarism through history.
The visit I made to Auschwitz-Birkenau many years ago is still seared on my mind. Remembering the horror of those years, today and always. #HolocaustMemorialDay

In 2010 on this day I met one of the survivors, a child from this picture. I sung in a German & Israeli reunited choir, at the U.N. in New York for the memory of those who lost their lives in Auschwitz. pic.twitter.com/F5rWSa4O6e

Never forget when the Soviet Union invaded Aushwitz and liberated over 7,000 prisoners.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Anyone who doubts that the Soviet Army liberated Europe and righted the worst wrongs in human history will get it across the mouth.

May the memories of all who did not survive be a blessing to every generation 🕊💜🙏
It’s my birthday today, but more importantly it is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. As a small gift to me, please follow the account below so that we never forget where hatred and intolerance lead us. ❤️
Jour de Devoir de Mémoire.

For all of us and future generations the last sentence is the most important one. "WE MUST REMEMBER. #Auschwitz78"
I had the honour of visiting last week ahead of the 78th anniversary of the camp’s liberation, and feel profoundly haunted by the experience, and the particularly striking line of ‘Auschwitz didn’t land from the sky’ pic.twitter.com/jbvkvA1NCo

Thank you for all you do to keep the memory of those who suffered and died alive. #NeverForget 🕯
Niemals vergessen. Niemals vergeben. Auf dass Auschwitz nie wieder sei.

We must remember how the soviets were all too eager to invade and annex parts of Europe with the nazis. We must remember how the soviets were able to liberate them thanks to Lend Lease and only after the nazis betrayed the soviets. 🙏
I'm an agnostic, but reading and retweeting @AuschwitzMuseum is my daily prayer: #NeverAgain

Today I am heartbroken.
My visit in 2016 to Auschwitz-Birkenau to see what remains of the horrors of the death camp there and the Holocaust at that site, is seared in my memory.

It is our duty to remember those who died and ensure no future generation ever forgets them. #HMD2023 #HolocaustMemorialDay
.@AuschwitzMuseum - every day should be International Holocaust
Remembrance Day. Not enough people give serious weight to this horrific but important part of World History. 😒

I think it's really important to remember that for those who were freed, it didn't mean they all went back to the lives they'd once had. Many were sent to terrible places and suffered greatly. That's not too undermine the importance of this day, but it's part of a big story.

Today January 27th like every year and as @yadvashem reminds us, we remember Remembrance Day, not to forget, and to say NEVER AGAIN as a warning for the future...today we are all Jews.
When this feels like ancient history I remind myself that my Grammy was 13 years old on this day (she’s 91 years young 💗), and that she had my Momma just 8 years later? It’s modern history. We can’t forget a fresh wound; kept bloody by new antisemitic/white nationalist violence.

Globalists and nazis alliance is REAL. Western globalists voted AGAINST REPRESSION of nazism at U.N. For years. They NEVER wanted the peace with Russia, but it’s invasion for their GREAT RESET, a ONE world fascist state. Vicious manipulation. The III REICH is not dead. #Auschwitz pic.twitter.com/1vz4znRdNV

We must keep the memories alive we must speak about what happened , the death, torture and experiments must never be forgot . We owe it to them, and humanity to never forget or the same thing will happen again.

Před 78 lety osvobodili vojáci Sovětské armády více než 7000 vězňů německého nacistického tábora #Auschwitz, včetně asi 700 dětí. Skončilo 1 689 dní vraždění, bolesti, utrpení a ponižování. Dnes si to všichni připomínáme. Musíme si to připomínat. | #Auschwitz78
