Under 2023 är Gränsbevakningsväsendet ordförande för forumet för kustbevakning i Nordatlanten. Forumet utvecklar samarbetet och informationsutbytet mellan medlemsländernas kustbevakningsmyndigheter i frågor som gäller marin säkerhet samt kustbevakningsverksamheten.
