@Penngwinn During a total solar eclipse, the Moon completely blocks out the Sun, but that doesn’t happen during an annular eclipse. Still, both are great to experience and learn from! During annular eclipses, we use ground and space instruments to view the Sun's corona, or outer atmosphere.
