Storms were forecast to hit Essendon and Mornington by 2.45pm, while Preston, Rosebud, Glen Waverley, Caulfield, Frankston and Dandenong were readying for storms at 3.15pm. @BOM_Vic says damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rain that may lead to flash flooding are likely.

If you used all that water to fill 1L bottles, you would need 1,630,156,000,000 of them. It's a far cry from life a decade ago, when plants were only watered on even or odd days, and cars couldn't be washed with hoses fitted with trigger nozzles, under Stage 2 restrictions.

It follows a 2019 case where an activist was fined $1 after breaking into the Gippy Goat Cafe in Gippsland and stealing four animals. Agriculture Minister Mary-Anne Thomas said "farmers ... should be able to do their work without fear of being targeted by animal activists”.

“This pandemic has taken its toll on everyone, but none more so than our beloved Jilly and her family,” she wrote. Her employer Eastern Health mourned the death of a "beloved" colleague and friend - an "incredibly caring wife and mother" to husband Michael and their three kids.

MPs are currently voting on the 80+ amendments to the bill, with some changing clothes and stretching as the night dragged on. The government bill is likely to pass after Transport Matters MP Rod Barton negotiated a number of amendments to improve oversight on decision-making.

#Breaking: A student, 15, has been arrested after he shot and killed 3 students and wounded 6 other people, including a teacher, at a high school in the U.S. state of Michigan.

"The remains are yet to be formally identified and it is expected this process will take some time." Jetstar pilot Greg Lynn has been charged with murdering the pair in the Wonnangatta Valley, in Victoria's High Country, in March last year.

A nearby nurse provided first aid to the Tarneit man in his 50s, believed to be a healthcare worker, before he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police located the vehicle and arrested the driver at a Leicester St, Carlton address shortly after.

Transport Matters MP Rod Barton will vote in favour if the government makes six changes, including setting up a joint parliamentary committee to scrutinise public health orders. If the bill passes, Victoria will have similar legislation to laws that exist in NSW and NZ.
