Albo is a legit Hawks fan. So he’s misguided, but authentically so.

Looking forward to watching #AFLGrandFinal from Perth - sorry @TimWattsMP but it’s #GoDees

The Morrison-Joyce Government is divided on net zero.

A Labor Government will commit to net zero emissions by 2050.

Why can't anyone in this government just be honest?

The rules are there to prevent corruption, and he is flouting them.

Scott Morrison has tried to wash his hands of this issue, saying he’s not Christian Porter’s boss. As the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Liberal Party – he absolutely is Christian Porter's boss. He needs to show leadership.

Christian Porter either needs to explain where the money came from, or he needs to resign from the parliament now.

I’ve heard too many stories of people abusing retail workers, shouting at them as they do their jobs. That kind of behaviour is never okay.
Replying to @AlboMP
Our retail workers are essential, they’re ensuring we can shop for the food and essentials we need. Thank you for the work you’re doing. You don’t deserve to a cop a serve while you’re doing your job.

Scott Morrison's own MPs are promoting the same conspiracy theories and misinformation as the rioters in Melbourne.

It's well and truly time he showed some leadership and called them out.

Disinformation is being spread by people in his own government.

Some of his own backbenchers – including his former Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack – are fed up with it, and have called it out.  It’s time for Scott Morrison to do the same.

They are not helping us end the lockdowns, and neither is Scott Morison’s silence.  The void left by this Prime Minister’s lack of leadership is being filled by dangerous nonsense.

For months, Scott Morrison has refused to call out members of his government for spreading conspiracies.

People who sit behind him in our nation’s parliament are sowing division, fear and anger in our community.

I’m struggling to find the words to express how grateful I am for the work they’re doing. Saving lives as our hospitals deal with Covid outbreaks. A patient at St Vincent’s said it best, “You guys are angels, you are the backbone of this country.” ab.co/3hXJTBM
Replying to @AlboMP
The best way we can thank them is to get vaccinated, it will ease the pressure on our hospitals and on them. So let’s get it done, Australia.

Our nurses and doctors have been the ones pulling the 14 hour shifts in full PPE. They've been the ones on the frontline, putting themselves at risk to save others. pic.twitter.com/t3mvkcbJD7

We all want lockdowns to end. We all want to go back to normal. The only way we’re going to do that is through vaccinations.

Stay safe Victoria. Thanks to the SES and other frontline workers who are always there when we need them.
Yes, that was an earthquake.

The early years must always be a policy priority.

Universal early childhood education and care is an investment in our future – and that investment starts now.

On behalf of @australianlabor, I wholly condemn the actions of those people who assaulted journalists, police officers, and members of the public.

This violent behaviour risks the health and safety of others and jeopardises Victoria’s efforts to safely re-open.
Replying to @AlboMP
I welcome the strong condemnation of the violence from right across the @unionsaustralia movement. Police officers and journalists are workers too. Nobody deserves to be assaulted at work.

Townsville deserves better than the Morrison Government, it deserves an MP like John Ring.

John's throwing his hat in the ring after Scott Morrison and Phillip Thompson tried to cut funding to aviation firefighting services. After 14 years in the RAAF he knows how to fight for his community and for Townsville's fair share.

Christian Porter may have stepped down as a minister, but he's still a member of parliament, and we cannot have members of parliament accepting anonymous donations of cash. Scott Morrison has failed another test of his leadership. pic.twitter.com/TqfgxiHbjH

There are so many questions that the Prime Minister needs to answer. Who provided this money? How was it provided? Is there any conflict of interest? Does anyone who provided money have contracts with the Government?

Andrea, a nurse, told us how she can’t work from home because her NBN is too unreliable. Anthony, a turf farmer, told us about the government’s failure to fix drainage issues around his farm, and their refusal to spend money they promised for bushfire and flood resilience.

So many people had stories about how this government promises one thing, but never delivers. I’ve travelled around Macquarie with Susan a lot in the past few years. I've seen the hard work she does. She’s a fighter. She will deliver for her community under a Labor Government.

People in the Hawkesbury in NSW have been through a lot in the past few years – bushfires, floods, and now a pandemic. Tonight @stemplemanmp and I spoke to thousands of Hawkesbury residents in a virtual town hall over the phone. pic.twitter.com/Qzo2RiMEYL

No wonder the Morrison Government has avoided a National Anti-Corruption Commission.

A Labor Government I lead will introduce one with the ability to investigate ministers. Because we need to restore public confidence in our political system.

I was delighted to announce today respected charity leader Louise Miller-Frost as Labor's candidate for Boothby.

Louise is a woman of integrity and principle, who knows that governments can make a difference to people’s lives.
