Someday #region3 will win this award -- we've kept the lights off in our office (using only ☀️natural light☀️) since March. @ASDem plz consider this an official nomination

RT if YOU have won the #Cory2020 Super Saver award
Sign of a great campaign manager: “⁦⁦@ASDem⁩ gives out ‘super saver awards’ to especially budget-minded staffers, like those who car-pooled instead of taking a train.” nytimes.com/2019/12/11/us/…

I don't know what my favorite part of this piece is: the @mckenziey feature, the cameo by a man named Skeeter, or the vegan snickerdoodle cookies (Midwesterners are so thoughtful!). nytimes.com/2019/12/11/us/…

"Polling is BS!"- @CoryBooker wants you to know he's not out of this race just because his polling numbers are down. Full interview up now! pic.twitter.com/6CLvOJRB0T

It really was. Because @CoryBooker & his team are “something special!”

Don’t know whether to be sad or touched that my DC bodega man, who I haven’t seen in a few months, is concerned by how tired I look. #Friendship2020

Spontaneous endorsements, overflowing rooms and vegan cookies—this weekend in Iowa was something special.

Anyway, people in rural America have lots of the same struggles that people in cities and suburbs do—access to quality, affordable health care, funding for public schools, economic development and opportunity and more.

If we say we're the party that cares about people, that has to include all the people—that's why I love this plan. It is comprehensive & thoughtful & demonstrates that @CoryBooker—a Dem who lives in an inner city!—gets that rural America is a part of that. corybooker.com/ruralamerica

- Polling places can be far away—and public transportation doesn’t exist. It can be time-consuming & expensive to vote! I've known people who can afford goods but can't afford the gas to get to town to buy them. Imagine having to make the choice between paying for heat and voting

- Rural Americans struggle with redistricting due to population loss, perpetuating the pattern of Republicans winning in rural areas and further disenfranchising rural Democrats

To people who think rural Americans are all too conservative to vote for Democrats, and therefore, their needs shouldn’t be a part of the Democratic platform, a few things to consider:

An old farmer wearing overalls pulled a *screwdriver* out of the front pocket. He used it to calmly stir his coffee before carefully wiping it with a handkerchief and putting it back. Then he looked at me and said, “Good. All the Republicans have ever given us were hemorrhoids.”

One morning I was having coffee with my grandparents and their friends. My grandpa was bragging about my new job in DC at the DNC. (I tried to find a job in Missouri, but yes, ended up having to leave home to get one in my chosen field).

For generations, Rural America has been plundered for the benefit of cities—everything from strip mining to agriculture to our very labor. Grateful to work for a Democrat with a deep understanding of and appreciation for our #rural communities and the issues we face.
Today, I'm unveiling a plan to create new pathways to opportunity and prosperity in rural America—because no one should have to leave their home to build a future in this country. Read it here: corybooker.com/RuralAmerica

Under appreciated moment that I refuse to let go unnoticed from @corybooker’s speech today in Iowa: his entirely unrehearsed freestyle encapsulation of his core argument toward the end.

I mean, look at this internal rhyme scheme:

A lot of folks run for president because they want to change the country. Very few of them actually do. @KamalaHarris did.

I’m seeing some people in the audience wipe their eyes during this @CoryBooker speech. Consistently on the trail I hear from folks that he’s “inspirational” and that his message resonates. Of course, to the confusion of many, that hasn’t translated in polling.
