I’m glad to be hanging out with the @CoryBooker team at their Caucus en Español training. Nevada is critical this election and they’re training first time voters in SPANISH!

Yes, they are handpainted kicks made by @ZoxJeannie, mom to our IA City Organizer and one-time Cory Crew Challenge champion @IzzyZox. I’m almost afraid to wear them they are so fly.

I am gonna wear them for the first time on Caucus night. It is written.

This makes me so happy. Was great to meet you both at the Finkenauer Fish Fry and get the book to Cory! And so glad to have you on board.

This thread is the definition of #BrickByBrick, heart-based organizing that is at the core of our campaign.
So happy to announce that @scottmicro666 & I have endorsed @CoryBooker and support his campaign to be our next President!
#RipplesOfHope along with #HopeHypeHustle to help our country to move forward in a spirit of Unity and being our better selves.

"Everyone should have dignity and security in retirement. This is something I will fight for as president. We will do what's right by our retirees. We will pass the Butch Lewis Act." - @CoryBooker #Teamsters2020 live now in Iowa. #1u

.@CoryBooker--> "My grandfather, a union member, taught me that the power of the people is greater than that of the people in power. I believe I'm the best candidate in this field to energize all Americans...you all are here because you know democracy is not a spectator sport."

Can confirm. A lot of folks we're talking to have never had a campaign staffer knock on their doors before, and when they hear about @CoryBooker, they're all in. I collected nearly a dozen CTVs (commit to vote cards) this morning alone! The energy is here. #SC2020 #Cory2020

It’s been a good week for sure (!) but this surge in support started after the November debate. Best fundraising day was this Wednesday, and #2 and #3 were debate day and day after. And period between has been stronger than average, stronger than projected. #WeWillRise

I would also argue that Steph Curry’s injury has been a low key positive for Booker’s campaign. A Warriors playoff run would have been a big distraction.
I still catch the games when I can Dan, I’m not a monster. Like what I’m seeing out of Paschall and Spellman. Burks would be a great 7th man.

Booker raised $6 million in the three months of the third quarter - and $1 million just since Harris dropped out of the race on Tuesday

Will note we also raised $800K in two days after the November 20 debate. Been a good few weeks.

Asked someone this earlier, but what kind of monster is a 1?!?!
seriously. Maybe they lost their plate in the middle of eating their wing? Died?

New endorsement for Booker this morning: Royceann Porter, the first black woman elected as a Johnson County supervisor. He’d supported her 2018 bid, but she said she made up her mind today as Booker was talking.

(Johnson County contains Iowa City and is the bluest part of Iowa)

Ye olde verbal press release: Royceann Porter, Johnson County supervisor in Iowa, stands at the front of the room, grabs Booker’s hand and shouts: “Royceann Porter endorses Cory Booker!”

IOWA CITY - @CoryBooker stumps at the Center for Worker Justice or Eastern Iowa. Booker is telling his life story and is still introducing himself to Iowa voters. Staffers moved the speaker system to the hallway outside the room so overflow crowd could hear. Panorama below 📸

And, of course: TI-Whatever You Like = 2008. Will never forget belting it out at our post-election victory party in Columbus after Obama won. Anyways! Point is I wish I had this feature for my whole life @Spotify and it’s really cool and you all should go play around with it.

Fun fact: I made Beyoncé-Freedom from Lemonade my alarm song back in summer 2016 and still have never changed it. Been waking up to it for 3.5 years! Still gets me outta bed in the morning.

Pearl Jam-Ten = 1992. It’s the album that helped me discover I liked rock music while I was in middle school. (I grew up in an R&B only household.) Hootie and the Blowfish-Cracked Rear View = 1995. Bought via Columbia House from my dorm room at boarding school. cc: @mattklapper)

A few off the top of my head: Third Eye Blind-Semi-Charmed Life = summer 1997, the summer before I went to college. OutKast-Hey Ya = fall 2003 when I was an FO driving the cold roads of Iowa blasting it in my beat up whip. Lemonade = summer 2016. We all had it on repeat.

Random Twitter thread as I take a sec to relax this Friday night - tl;dr: I love @Spotify’s music of the decade feature.

One of the best parts about music (at least for me) is that is transports me back in time. I associate a lot of music with specific years/moments of my life.

Growing up in the Korean church, we never saw any politicos come share why candidates cared abt engaging educating empowering our communities. So this is personal and we fight to give everyone including our AAPI families a chance to get involved. Join us! corybooker.com/together
