You can't underrate how much of this for Omarosa isn't abt money or book sales, but about trying to reingratiate herself into a black community where support for Trump can make one a social pariah.

@AsteadWesley On the one hand, I appreciated this story as a glimpse into the delusional minds of people far gone from reality. On the other hand, you treated them far too credulously.

This was an important thing I wanted to note in this story. The "race-baiting" is not a side product of this film -- it's front and center.
In Medina, Ohio, Dinesh D'Souza's latest film was not a hit in spite of its use of demagoguery, but because of it. nyti.ms/2BlA7Xq

This @dbernstein piece on MA7 hits on an important point: The contest is "a direct challenge to the way we do politics" in Boston....Pressley's challenge tests the city's "long-ingrained protocol of waiting for an incumbent to retire." bostonmagazine.com/news/2018/08/1…

Every time I talk to a minority candidate this cycle they mention how these type of engrained protocols, which are seemingly colorblind, are big part of the reason the party has historically failed at building a diverse bench.
