When I was in elementary school I wrote @BillClinton letters often. So much that on my 13th birthday I received a card from the White House. I promised myself I would visit the town that he was born in one day. Well, We’ve found Hope! #robersonroadtrip pic.twitter.com/szi1oGKXoR

Thank you for visiting my hometown, and for the letters! I still believe in that place called Hope.

The tragic events in Srebrenica awoke the world to the horrors of the conflict and triggered the efforts that ended the war. Today we must remember— as we did when I had the honor to be in Srebrenica in ‘15— so we never make those mistakes again. Video: bit.ly/301NhC4

Grateful for 25 years of partnership — working towards peace, prosperity and security — in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. And to all of those whose support made it possible, including Senators McCain, Kerry, Kerrey, Robb, and Cleland and Congressman Peterson — all Vietnam veterans.

On this 4th of July, I'm hopeful that we continue to work on and build upon the ideals of equality and freedom, expanding the definition of "Us" and shrinking the definition of "Them." How we respond to this moment in time may define what our country is like for a very long time.

Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. And some are John Lewis. Watch Good Trouble and see what I mean.

We have much to do in the days to come, and the @ClintonFdn is already hard at work with our partners — serving meals to those in need, supporting families in underserved communities, and empowering leaders worldwide. Join us and let’s do this together.

I am proud to join the #TipYourCap2020 campaign in honor of the centennial of the Negro Leagues and the talented men and women who played in them from 1920 through 1960. The Negro Leagues made baseball better and America better.

This is what a community does: Help one another.

I loved Steve Bing very much. He had a big heart, and he was willing to do anything he could for the people and causes he believed in. I will miss him and his enthusiasm more than I can say, and I hope he’s finally found peace.

America’s greatest strength is our diversity. This week’s Supreme Court rulings protecting LGBTQ+ rights in the workplace and blocking the termination of DACA have made America better, fairer, and stronger.

Juneteenth is both a remembrance and, particularly this year, a reminder that the journey toward true equality and justice is far from over. The millions of people across the country demanding change have brought new hope to a very old fight. We must keep pushing.

No one deserves to die the way George Floyd did. And the truth is, if you’re white in America, the chances are you won’t. That truth is what underlies the pain and the anger that so many are feeling and expressing.

I'll always remember Eddie Sutton as a good man, who cared about his players, got the best out of them and prepared them well for life after basketball. And I will always love him for being a ferocious, loyal friend. My full statement on his passing here: wjcf.co/2ZxlESH

Losing Open Skies is a major blow to international arms control efforts. One more critical line of communication with Russia closed. One less opportunity to prevent disaster before it happens. They will come for New START next, opening the floodgates to a new nuclear arms race.

Bill and I were saddened to hear of the passing of Wilson Roosevelt Jerman at the age of 91 from COVID-19. Jerman served as a White House butler across 11 presidencies and made generations of first families feel at home, including ours. Our warmest condolences to his loved ones.

Little Richard was a great talent and a big part of my childhood so it was an honor when he played at my inauguration in 1993. His music influenced countless musicians and we still feel it today. I will miss him and his unforgettable charisma.
