At the 1998 Grammy’s PAVAROTTI was to perform ‘Nessun dorma”, but his Doctors said no, he was in no fit state.

The Producers went to ARETHA FRANKLIN’s dressing room & after listening to a tape of a rehearsal just once, she went on stage & did THIS.

(I'm sorry, more karaoke opinions) - my KJ friends tell me that the most requested songs are Creep, Total Eclipse of the Heart, and Adele stuff. If you want to stand out, do something in a key you can manage. Don't sweat it if you can't hit a note. It's not Carnegie Hall

People always tell newcomers at karaoke (or people who are nervous/think they can't sing) to do songs like "Tequila" or "Wipe Out" or "Cars" (by Gary Numan) but those are not the right choice for y'all because you HAVE TO STAND THERE SAYING NOTHING WHILE THE MUSIC PLAYS.

Doug Mastriano has built his campaign by forging alliances with antisemite extremists. His new partnership with prolific antisemite Jack Posobiec is unsurprising.

He's told us exactly who he is. We must defeat him and elect @JoshShapiroPA this November. mediamatters.org/jack-posobiec/…

In MI, an avg. of 2 kids every year go through the process to play on a team that matches their gender identity.

Banning them from playing won’t make your life any better. It will just devastate 2 kids.

The GOP has no platform to help you, just to make you fear someone else.

Who’s cooler? @JohnFetterman, renegade, speaks to crowds in the pouring rain “Dr Oz might be a joke, but it’s isn’t funny.”

#Fetterman says he’ll fight to:

ProAct, a union way of life
Access to healthcare
Lower drug prices
Codify Roe
Protect marriage equality

Depends on your range. I can nail most men who are tenors, but Steve Perry?! Forget about it. Too high to belt. And no one wants to hear a woman sing karaoke in her head voice unless the song is appropriate

Love carbonated water. Also great in combination with a little cranberry juice and fresh lime.

I've had many glasses of cold water in my life, but occasionally I'd come across water that's just....magically cold. Like, Arctic in a glass. And they're often found in the weirdest places, like this one water cooler in the layaway at this pharmacy I used to go to. Pure magic.

THIS. I still have soda and beer occasionally, but my urge to drink either is about 90% reduced ever since I started sparkling water.

Carbonated water is the best. Heads-up, though, that it can exacerbate indigestion. That’s not the time for it.

Would you mind describing the benefits? I'm a diet soda junkie and probably need to cut it out.

Definitely better moods. Increased energy. Saved money from it. And I wasn't looking to lose weight--nor do I need to--but I dropped, like, 20 pounds.

As of today, I'm now 21 months without soda and feeling really good about it. Best health decision I've ever made.

Carbonated water is the key. It's a perfectly fine bridge for withdrawal.

Yaz was in '67, he's the most recent after Cabrera in '12. What is 2022 minus 1967? 55 years.

The triple crown is such an unbelievable achievement that I thought I wouldn't see it in my lifetime. When Miguel Cabrera did it, I was surprised at how little attention it seemed to get considering the magnitude.
