The Tories tried to take your transport.

@SadiqKhan saved your bus 🤜🏿
London's 620 bus routes are a lifeline for many across our city.

Many were under threat of being cut due to the conditions of the Tory Government's funding deal for TfL.

Today I've announced the overwhelming majority will be saved, with only 3 services withdrawn. 🚍 pic.twitter.com/VGcPiQF8pV

.@RishiSunak is completely out of his depth at #PMQs.

Too weak to tell the truth about 12 years of low growth. No answers on how to fix public services.

The @Conservatives are out of ideas and need to be booted out of office.

I was horrified by the awful and senseless attacks today in Jerusalem targeting Israeli civilians.

The awful rise in violence in Israel and the Occupied West Bank in recent weeks must end.

In an age of authoritarians, poverty and climate change, we need to modernise international development.

Aid in the 2020s must not be patronising or paternalistic, but instead build mutual trust and respect.

An honour to address @christian_aid tonight.

Today I spoke out against the disastrous #Tory #budget which will leave families poorer, public services crumbling, and inflation soaring.

The country cannot afford this Tory Government.

We need a Labour government, led by @Keir_Starmer, to fix Britain’s economy.

Tonight, I am honoured to deliver Christian Aid's Annual Lecture. I will be laying out how a Labour government will restore Britain's global leadership on the great development challenges the world faces, from conflict to the climate crisis.

🙌 Our Annual Lecture is taking place this evening!

Great results for #TeamHaringey yesterday with their largest ever team of 72 youngsters. Well done @BurkGravis & team and everyone who took part!

This is the cost of the dysfunction at the top of the rotten Conservative government.

Dominic Raab's alleged bullying looks like it stopped him from doing his job - and may have led to delays in evacuations as Kabul fell.

We need a change of government.

12 years of Conservative economic failure has made us all worse off.

We need a #GeneralElectionNow and a @UKLabour government.

The @Conservatives blaming global issues for the economic crisis they have unleashed in Britain will fool no one. We are the only G7 country that is still poorer than before the pandemic.

Same old @Conservatives. Making working people pay for their catastrophic mistakes.

The brutal two-year conflict in Ethiopia has wrecked so many lives & the recent ceasefire is a long overdue achievement.

The UK Govt must now engage all the more closely to support immediate life-saving aid, sustained peace, and justice for the countless victims of abuses.

Protests in #Iran, led by brave women and girls, are calling for an end to state violence & for ordinary Iranians to live their lives as they choose.

The UK must stand unequivocally against the death penalty and take steps to protect journalists critical of the Iranian regime.

Last night's incident highlights the sheer recklessness of Putin’s war and the ongoing need to guard against miscalculation and deter aggression.

Labour stands fully committed to working in support of Ukraine until it wins its freedom.

Another u-turn from the Conservatives on China.

We don’t need more hollow slogans, we need consistency.

@UKLabour will stand firm on human rights and national security, while engaging in the national interest on climate change, trade and global health.

Cleverly travelling to the World Cup without apologising for his prehistoric suggestion that LGBT+ fans should 'compromise' on their sexuality is appalling.

Instead of doubling down, Cleverly should secure concrete assurances that fans won’t be punished for loving who they love.

Today I’m at #COP27. The climate crisis is the greatest challenge the world faces, which is why while Rishi Sunak tries to dodge climate action, Labour will turn up by introducing Britain’s first ever Green Foreign Policy.

No ifs, no buts. Putin's rogue Russian state must be held accountable for its monstrous war.

This #RemembranceSunday I am paying tribute to all those who have served in the armed forces at the Holy Trinity Church and Tottenham Town Hall. The freedom and democracy we all enjoy is founded on their sacrifice.

Congratulations to Democrat friends in the US for winning Nevada, retaining control of the Senate, and showing what it means to fight for democracy and the right to choose 🤜🏿

Rotten.

Great to join @mariaeaglemp campaigning for the fantastic @CllrSDixon in Chester - lots of support for her but also hunger for a #generalelectionnow

On #RemembranceDay we honour all those who have served - and in particular those who gave their lives - to defend our country, our values and our way of life.

Labour pays tribute to the armed forces, veterans and their families today.

Powerful interview with James Cleverley and his courageous wife Susie about her battle with Breast Cancer. Sending them and their family my very best wishes.
In reply to @SkyNews
'I hadn't thought about my mortality, and certainly haven't really given any thought to losing Susie - and then suddenly you get to confront that.' James Cleverly says there were a "couple of times" he thought he might lose his wife. #Rigby: trib.al/QFGaelP 📺 Sky 501 pic.twitter.com/8swowqvWkI

Excellent to meet with NATO Deputy Secretary General @Mircea_Geoana in Brussels.

Labour is the party which helped found NATO and our commitment to supporting Ukraine in its war against Putin’s imperialism is unshakable.

Glad to have met w/ UK Shadow Defence Secretary @JohnHealey_MP & Shadow Foreign Secretary @DavidLammy.
The #UK 🇬🇧 is a committed Ally to #NATO's deterrence & defence posture. Providing practical support to #Ukraine remains a top priority; we must continue the momentum.

A British citizen undergoing medical intervention in prison while his family and UK diplomats are denied access or news of his health is cruel and unusual. This completely unacceptable ordeal must end. FCDO must step up, get access to Alaa and his release.

Pancreatic Cancer patients are being let down by the Government's complete failure on workforce planning in our NHS.

Labour's plan will ensure the NHS has the staff it needs to get patients seen on time.

My contribution to yesterday's #PancreaticCancerAwarenessMonth debate.

For too long this government’s diplomacy has been weak.

The government must make clear there will be serious diplomatic consequences if consular access is not granted immediately and Alaa Abd el-Fattah is not released and reunited with his family.

There is no reason Gavin Williamson and Suella Braverman are still squatting in Cabinet other than Rishi Sunak’s appalling lack of judgement. The @Conservatives are ungovernable and unfit to govern.

🇧🇷 Brazil can become a key player in the fight against climate change. But the UK’s relationship with the rest of the world has suffered because of the chaos that the Conservatives have presided over.

With @LulaOficial, the UK must take the opportunity to engage with Brazil.

This is now gravely urgent.

Alaa Abd El-Fattah is a British citizen. For months, Labour have pressed the government to do more to secure his release.

Rishi Sunak must use his visit to #COP27 in Egypt to bring Alaa home.

David Lammy Retweeted ·
'Suella Bravarman was so right. It is an invasion!'

This caller expresses 'admiration' for Priti Patel's Rwanda scheme and says 'the country is gone' but David Lammy sets him straight.

It's welcome the government is finally taking steps to put right a historic wrong on the Chagos Islands. The government must now negotiate a resolution that allows former Chagos inhabitants to return home, while maintaining key commitments on security.

For months, my constituents @Monasosh and @sana2 and I have pressed the government to secure their brother Alaa Abd El-Fattah’s release. It is an outrage the Foreign Office has not even been given consular access.

Rishi Sunak must do all he can at #COP27 to bring Alaa home.

This is a vital breakthrough that brings a ceasefire to Tigray.

It is essential all parties abide by this truce and humanitarian access is restored.

It is shameful you had to be forced into attending #COP27 .

Britain should be a leader on fixing the climate crisis - not a reluctant follower.
There is no long-term prosperity without action on climate change.

There is no energy security without investing in renewables.

That is why I will attend @COP27P next week: to deliver on Glasgow's legacy of building a secure and sustainable future.

Putin's strategy to target civilian infrastructure ahead of the winter is a sign of desperation.

Our message to Putin is clear: our support of Ukraine will not falter, and our duty to Ukraine will go on.

Congratulations to Inácio Lula Da Silva, on being elected President of #Brazil.
This is a triumph for democracy the environment, the climate emergency and indigenous rights.

Truly horrendous images emerging from Seoul. My thoughts and prayers with the people of South Korea at this awful time.
Officials in Seoul said that at least 120 people were dead and 100 others were injured after a stampede in the South Korean capital's popular Itaewon district, where crowds had gathered to celebrate Halloween. nytimes.com/live/2022/10/2… pic.twitter.com/7FXmfW8qab

Out in Hendon for our National Campaign Weekend with @Keir_Starmer this morning and speaking in Blaydon in Tyne and Wear last night. Up and down the country the public are raising their fears about their mortgages going up thanks to the Tories. They are crying out for Labour.

Violence against those in public life and their families is beyond contempt. @UKLabour sends its full support to the Pelosis and all our friends in the US at this awful time. Wishing Paul Pelosi a full and speedy recovery.
BREAKING: Paul Pelosi “violently assaulted” in home break-in. The husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is hospitalized and expected to fully recover, spokesperson says. apnews.com/article/paul-p…

It is a monumental failure of leadership that @RishiSunak will not be attending #COP27.

Only @UKLabour is serious about tackling the climate crisis.

I’m delighted to announce that the awesome @FloEshalomi is joining the Labour frontbench. 🌹

She’s been a superb PPS and will be a formidable Shadow Minister in the Cabinet Office team along with @PutneyFleur. Congratulations Flo, very well earned. 🎀 pic.twitter.com/oaApNRh8Bq

Fantastic news.

It’s 2022. I cannot accept that any commentator is seriously still denying the climate crisis exists. #bbcqt

The biggest issue facing our planet and one of his first acts is to cower to the denialism in his party and turn his back on the global community. What a spectacular failure of leadership. theguardian.com/environment/20…
