There are few greater joys than meeting students with big dreams and boundless curiosity!

Across the country, summer learning programs are helping students catch up on reading and STEM skills ahead of the fall.

To all the teachers helping our littlest learners catch up this summer — thank you.

You continue to be the heroes we need. 💕

What an amazing Stage 1 of @LeTourFemmes — and such a great sight to see after 33 long years.

Wishing the best of luck to Florida native, @lily_bwilliams, and all the cyclists competing this week.

This week, Mrs. Zelenska shared with me stories of resilience and heartbreak as Ukraine faces the devastating physical and mental toll of Russia’s war.

Her courage, and the courage of the Ukrainian people, continues to inspire the world.

I'm on the road in Detroit today, but I spoke to Joe earlier and he’s feeling fine, just experiencing a few mild symptoms.

This morning, I tested negative for COVID-19. I'll continue to follow CDC guidance and wear a mask.

Keep reading and learning! 💕

Story time with friends and building your own robot – this is what summer learning looks like in New Haven, Connecticut!

Today, @SecCardona and I saw first-hand how the Administration is helping our youngest learners get caught up this summer.

It’s spirit check time!

Thank you to all the students, parents, and educators here in New Haven, Connecticut for sharing your joy with @SecCardona and me today.

Keep learning, keep growing, and keep having fun!

On behalf of all Americans, it was such an honor to welcome Mrs. Zelenska to the White House.

We continue to stand united in our support for the people of Ukraine.

Since we met on Mother’s Day in Ukraine, my heart has remained with Mrs. Zelenska and the Ukrainian people.

That day, I also met mothers and children who fled the war. Their courage, and Mrs. Zelenska’s courage, has inspired the world.

I saw first-hand how @BHCCBoston and Eversource are working together to build stronger pathways to union jobs.

Community college partnerships like this are critical to preparing our workforce and implementing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

Together, we can end cancer as we know it.

I am so proud of the progress we've made since reigniting the Cancer Moonshot in February.
Yesterday, the Cancer Cabinet met at the White House to discuss how the entire Biden Administration is working to end cancer as we know it.
Here is some of the progress the Cancer Moonshot has made already🧵

No, no — thank YOU! I am so proud of all you are doing to fight for the community we care so deeply about. 💕
From one group of higher education faculty to another educator who gets it—the one and only @FLOTUS. Dr. Biden, thank you for fighting for us and alongside us. pic.twitter.com/MNOO7Tw9w7

Our military families may not wear a uniform, but they serve too.

All of us have a role to play in helping our military community thrive.

The @HomeBaseProgram is working to heal the invisible wounds of war — for our veterans, service members, military families, and families of the fallen.

Because of Mrs. Garcia and her granddaughter, Tara, more people now know about the trailblazing 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion and their service in World War II.

Mrs. Garcia, I salute you! Thank you for allowing us to share your story.

To all those across the United States and around the world celebrating Eid al-Adha, Jill and I wish you and your loved ones a joyous holiday filled with community, celebration, compassion, and service.

Eid Mubarak and Hajj Mabroor!

As part of our Joining Forces initiative, Joe and I are honored to welcome military families to the South Lawn to celebrate the Fourth of July.

They are the heart of our strength and the hope of our future. 💕

Nothing is more important than our children’s health — especially our littlest loved ones.

It’s up to us to keep them safe, and with the COVID-19 vaccine, we can.

Go to vaccines.gov to find a vaccine site near you.

Happy, happy birthday, Henry!

I am so glad @AshishKJha46 and I could be here to celebrate your COVID-19 vaccine — and your 3rd birthday!

Our friend Elmo and his dad, Louie, talked to their pediatrician and learned that getting the vaccine is the best way to keep Elmo and the whole @SesameStreet neighborhood safe and healthy!

So, reach out to your pediatrician to get the answers you need. 💕
Elmo got the COVID vaccine today, just like Elmo's mommy and daddy! Elmo's daddy had a lot of questions, but Elmo's doctor said the vaccine would help keep Elmo healthy, and all of Elmo's friends and family too! #CaringForEachOther

Earlier this month I had the chance to explore the beautiful @GrandCanyonNPS.

As schools are out for the summer, I encourage students and families to continue learning and exploring together at our nation’s biggest classrooms: our national parks!

As I met with Ukrainian families and aid workers in Spain, I thought about the words one mother told me when I went to Ukraine on Mother’s Day:

“There are no borders for our hearts.” 💕

I am grateful to the people of Spain for continuing to open their hearts to those in need.

The NATO Summit is a reminder that the bonds of friendship are what hold us together, uniting us in both moments of joy, and in times of need.

Thank you to Her Majesty Queen Letizia for showing us the beauty of Spain and bringing friends together in community.

We know the United States and Spain cannot beat cancer alone — it takes all of us sharing our best ideas and working together to help save lives.

This is what the Cancer Moonshot is all about.

As my friend @chefjoseandres knows well — food is love!

I am so grateful for all José and the @WCKitchen team are doing to support Ukrainian refugees here in Spain, and around the world.

Together, the United States and Spain continue to be united in our support for Ukraine. 🌻

I am in awe of these young Americans who so bravely shared their mental health journeys in @KenBurns’ new @PBS documentary, Hiding In Plain Sight.

I had the honor of meeting many of them a few weeks ago, and I hope their courageous stories will help others, too.

No country can beat cancer alone.

@TheNCI and @ContraCancerEs are leading examples of the type of international collaborations we need to build a future where the word “cancer” forever loses its power.

La Reina, acompañada por la primera dama de los EE.UU., ha visitado la sede de la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer para conocer juntas su labor y proyectos, así como la colaboración internacional en investigación sobre el cáncer.

Today in Madrid, Her Majesty Queen Letizia invited me to visit @ContraCancerEs to see how the United States and Spain are working together to end cancer as we know it.

Today, we gathered in Surfside to remember the 98 lives lost to tragedy one year ago. Joe and I feel deep gratitude for this community for coming together and wrapping their arms around those grieving.

Our hearts have never left Surfside — we stand with you today and always.

For nearly 50 years, women have had the right to make our own decisions about our bodies.

Today, that right was stolen from us.

And while we may be devastated by this injustice, we will not be silent. We will not sit back as the progress we have already won slips away.

Tomorrow, we will continue to fight — for our daughters and granddaughters, and for ourselves — until all women can decide our own futures once again.

Healing is not a straight line. That’s why we will always be there for our wounded warriors, their caregivers, and their families.

They have sacrificed for us — now it’s our turn to be strong for them.

The Promise Fund of Florida and FoundCare have made mammograms affordable and accessible.

When women aren't able to get treatments due to lack of child care or transportation — they find a way to meet that need.

It takes all of us to end cancer as we know it. #CancerMoonshot

I was honored to welcome @FabiiRosales to the White House yesterday to hear her story as an advocate for vulnerable Venezuelans.

She is a courageous First Lady and mother fighting for a better future for all Venezuelans.

I was a teenager at the time, and it’s incredible to see how much has changed in just my lifetime. Much of that progress is because of Title IX. Title IX is not just about sports — it’s made our schools and colleges become more fair, equitable places to learn.

Now, we’re not done yet — there is still progress to be made to ensure everyone is protected. Fifty years ago, we made history. And that history lives in us.

When she began the race, people started shouting and cursing at her. You can see she is mid-stride, her eyes worried but determined. Kathrine finished that race and she made history. pic.twitter.com/5zr9UKxqlw

As we celebrate 50 years of Title IX, I’m thinking about these photos of Kathrine Switzer, the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon. pic.twitter.com/AnNOI89DGZ

As a nana, I know many parents and grandparents have been waiting for this moment:

The COVID-19 vaccine is now approved for children as young as six months old.

It’s safe. It’s free. It’s the best way to protect the little ones you love. 💕

The emancipation of enslaved Black Americans was not the end of our nation's work to deliver on the promise of equality — it was only the beginning.

On Juneteenth, we recommit to our shared work to ensure racial justice, equity, and equality in America.

Happy Father's Day, especially to those in uniform. My father often didn't talk about his service in World War II, but he served proudly.

This photo immediately reminds me of his signature Stinson hat and the smell of his Old Spice aftershave. I miss him every day.

Happy Father’s Day, @POTUS!

For 125 years, the @NationalPTA has been a champion for our nation’s students.

The partnership of parents and educators is powerful — because when it comes to mental health, learning resources, or safe schools, we see what’s at stake every day in the eyes of the people we love.

It shouldn’t take courage to be yourself. It shouldn’t take courage to hold the hand of the person you love, or share one of the most fundamental and beautiful connections that any one of us can have in this life.

There are so many Javiers out there who have called on that courage to be their authentic selves. Joe and I will never stop fighting for a future that is safe and supportive for all to love whom they love.

Javier spoke about the kindness of a teacher with rainbow socks, who helped him when he was struggling with his identity. Now, he is a leader in his community, organizing walk-outs at his high school to protest Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay Bill.”
