SAA/NDF units in Afrin together with YPG tonight. He says "We have come to fight Ottoman Turkish invasion".
Erdogan said they withdrew after turkey bombed them. Erdogan is a liar.

This is the result of the international community bowing down to Erdogan, with no where else to look- Kurds cut a deal with Assad. Kurds will do anything necessary to survive, YPG has interests too.

World powers, int’l bodies all failed to pay their debt to the Kurds. #Afrin

If you're offended by YPG's partnership with SAA/NDF in Afrin, go take a painkiller. Literally all world is supporting al Qaeda against Afrin. More than happy NDF from Nubl & Zahra, who Afrin provided life to for years, came to Afrin. Hope they will actively engage the invaders.

Russia encouraged Kurds to declare independence in 1946 saying they would support it. Less than 1 year later Russia abandoned Kurds, making a deal with Iran and leaving Kurds crushed.
Until 1 month ago Russia supported YPG before selling them to Turkey.
History repeats itself.

The thing about Syria is that you could try to analyze it, but you can't prevent sudden 180 degree turns. Who would have thought that a day would come where the SAA was willing to help YPG, while Russia blocked any potential deal.

@Geshti_Azadi no where in middle east do arabs get treated better than in Kurdistan. In other arab countries they are beat up or killed because theyre the wrong sect.

@Duhok__Tee Indeed. That people got mad about a couple of Hashd fanboys doesn't turn this into a racism issue. Being supportive of Hashd in the middle of Hewler is somewhat comparable to being openly Pro-ISIS in Shengal.

Have a look at this. Some young men were angry at some Pro-Hashd troublemakers, and then you have this Shams guy here demonstrating "Butt wiping 101". What's next, are you gonna apologize to Turkish Ultra Nationalists for the Kurds that said mean things to them cos of Efrin?

Racism is bad, I get it. Those men were not assaulted because of their ethnicity, culture or whatever you may come up with, they openly praised Hashdi Shaabi in the middle of Hewler. People are angry, and they have a right to be so, those men should have shown some respect.

2. Few days ago, I was in #Baghdad. A man, said he is from #Basrah, confronted me and my friends about the #Erbil incident. Our message was that any attempt to paint #Erbilis or #Kurds with a single brush is racism too. https://t.co/JgloaI5Oox

It's because of people like you that KRG has been going backwards since its inception. How I wish your defeatist attitude was limited to ordinary citizens, but our failed politicians too are just as sad.

No wonder bashur has become the butt of jokes across Kurdistan.
It is sad when I see some Kurds accusing Srwa Abdulwahid for "betraying Kurds" due to her decision to be a candidate w/ PM Al-Abadi electoral list. Fascist nationalists, be a Kurd or an Arab, have the same mentality who dehumanize any who is not serving their agendas. https://t.co/Za3Lf3tImM

Once upon a time we thought Russia was the friend of Kurds in the Pro-Assad alliance. Oh how times change.
SAA deployment to Afrin was blocked by Russia today. Plain and simple. The least trustable country in Syria is Russia. There is nobody they won't sell for their interests. The favorite imperialists of anti imperialists.

it doesn't take a lot of effort, by now everyone's familiar with the way Turkey does politics with its neighbours. The most intriguing part though is how Russia has evolved in this war. One has to wonder if they're willing to let Turkey have all of Afrin, if it comes to that.

as time goes by it becomes increasingly clear that Assad (judging by Pro-SAA media and recent numerous meetings between them and YPG) is interested in some kind of agreement with the Afrin canton. Whatever he may think of the YPG, it's obvious to all sides in this conflict (1)

30 years ago, in 1988, Kurds were genocided with toxic gas. Today, 30 years later Kurds are being gassed again. Both in the name of Islam.

If something like this had occured in "palestine" the whole muslim world would react. No muslim reacted in 1988 and not today either.
