Fair. In my opinion, folks who are looking to get started aren't necessarily looking for deep, complicated solutions. They need to start by doing the beginner steps really well. Once they're doing that... then we can talk about more complex solutions and strategies.

One thing the pros forget to mention to new marketers/new businesses. It's really, REALLY hard to grow an audience from scratch on social media. It takes a lot of time and effort.

If you're out there working on this, don't get discouraged. It gets easier as your audience grows

Now, there are some things we can all do to make the process easier: Make sure your profile is filled out. Connect your social channels to your website. Share regularly. Engage with people online. Focus on the networks that matter to you and your audience. Know your audience.
