Sit down, Lindsey. Nobody cares what you think.

Apparently Ms. Hutchinson testified numerous times for multiple hours about what she knew about the events leading up to January 6 and its aftermath.

In her previous testimony did she mention the dramatic events described today?

I couldn’t find a gif for it, but Liz Cheney was giving big Michael Corleone “today I’m settling all my debts” energy. She elicited mini bombs on those who’ve come for her: Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, the Fox crew, and others who were or tried to be in touch with Trump on 1/6.

Totally untrue (not shockingly.). This is Trump and company MO, always lie and say someone “wanted a job but i turned them down.” LIES LIES AND LIES

Still blown away that when Mike Flynn, a retired General, was asked if he believed in the peaceful transition of power, instead of saying yes, he asserted his 5th amendment right to avoid giving an answer that would incriminate him.

And don’t overlook this: It was proven today that Donald Trump intended to lead an ARMED insurrection. He knew his supporters were armed, he wanted them armed, he wanted them to take the Capitol, and he wanted to go to the Capitol with them to be installed again as King.

Couple things:

1. I’m skeptical the Committee would have rolled that testimony out re: Trump assaulting the agent without corroboration.

2. Methinks some GOP Congresscritters are in serious legal jeopardy — too many people knew about the plan for violence and said nothing.

It’s just so darn wrong that the guy whose life Trump put in real danger on January 6th, Mike Pence, hasn’t had the decency & courage to testify.

Donald Trump, when told he could not go to the Capitol on Jan. 6: "I'm the fucking president. Take me up to the Capitol now," Cassidy Hutchinson testifies

Trump then reached to grab the steering wheel. A USSS agent said, "Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel."

All these deranged, grifting cult members are terrified underneath this kind of mind numbingly stupid nonsense, especially those who have actual legal risk like this lunatic does. They know the @January6thCmte has a MOUNTAIN of evidence not yet revealed.

It is shocking that the Republican party tried to prevent this hearing and this Committee from doing its job. What possible argument could there be in our democracy that the American public should not know all of this?

Did you know that sometimes bad actors will feed flawed stories to credulous journalists in order to affect public opinion when those journalists uncritically repeat them? Now you do.
