Got that? Some unknown person certified the U.S. Senate, which has 100 senators and thousands of staffers, has just 45 employees.
And there's one just like that for the House too. It's impossible to defend a scheme that depends on outright false documents.

John Delaney is too reasonable to stand a chance in Democratic primaries.

@kerpen And after the vote last night we weren't really in the mood to believe any more promises. They can move to it soon. They know how.
@dougstafford I don't work on those issues but I enjoyed the objection based on mood alone.

I mean, I guess it's his fault for winning and vowing to sign any repeal bill. How dare he put those poor Republicans on the spot like that.

But he had to know Rand Paul would object?

Remember, we have Obamacare b/c wrongful conviction Sen. Ted Stevens, later overturned, resulted in Dem 2008 pick up of needed Senate seat
@LegInsurrection And rightful conviction of Menendez could well provide 50th for repeal. Symmetry. @MelissaTweets

Obamacare repeal is still on a more direct path to passage than Obamacare followed.

3 Republicans and 48 Democrats let the American people down. As I said from the beginning, let ObamaCare implode, then deal. Watch!

The only way for 2017 to end is with Chris Christie's deciding vote for the MOAB.

Reminder: McCain and Murkowski both voted for a much farther-reaching repeal bill in 2015 & campaigned on repeal.

It's all trending towards the MOAB (Mother Of All Bills) rolling up health care, taxes, approps, debt ceiling, etc.

One vote short means a little pause until Menendez is convicted and resigns or is expelled. Trial starts Sep 6.

Senate can't even repeal the individual mandate.

@brianbeutler @chrislhayes @RameshPonnuru the 7 million choosing not to enroll in Medicaid aren't doing so Bc of rising Medicaid premiums

We'll all die without the individual mandate!!!

@kerpen Hi Phil.

I hope you or someone very close to you gets very, very sick and suffers greatly due to this bill.

Enjoy!

A bill with no change to Medicaid. CBO thinks 7M people are on Medicaid solely because of the individual mandate.

@BrentScher I switched to CSPAN2 when Pill gave up the homer. I'm not convinced to switch back yet.
@BrentScher Honestly, would rather watch Enzi than Salas.

Can't believe @Kerpen is tweeting about healthcare and not this Mets comeback

The Democratic clock management that gave the GOP the last hour demonstrated their usual competence.

Shorter Dems: What???? You want us to vote on the individual mandate? How dare you spring this surprise.

Democrats are complaining about the difficulty of reading an *8 page* bill comprised entirely of already well-known provisions.

Unreal how many Dems are trying to interrupt Enzi. The time was equally divided. They used theirs. They are children.

Dems acting like they haven't had enough time to form an opinion on the individual mandate. 🤔

Hahahaha Dems burned all their debate time and now they are whining about not having any left.

Go Republican Senators, Go! Get there after waiting for 7 years. Give America great healthcare!

Even when all the GOP repeals is the mandate Dems go nuts about "throwing people off" Obamacare. So good it must be mandatory.

Obamacare was an unfinished mess meant to be fixed in conference that the House swallowed because Scott Brown won.

43 Senate Dems want to have it both ways on single payer. Seems like a lot.

60% of House Dems endorsed this legislation & today not 1 Democrat Senator is willing to stand by and defend their socialized solution
