Working on social media isn’t easy. The craft requires time, dedication, adaptability, and endurance.

That’s why it helps to know what do we want to achieve.

Let’s talk about it: 1 in 3 women and girls experience violence in their lifetime.

We can all do our part to support victims, starting by speaking out and sending a clear message: ‘You are NOT alone.’

As @DrTedros added at the end of the press conference today - such tragic experiences affect whole generations. The memories are eventually locked away, but reminders such as the horror in #Ukraine, bring them back and then you realise that you’re scarred for life.
In reply to @WHO
"The #Ukraine situation also made me think about growing up in war. The smells, the sounds and memories you lock away because to be frank - they’re just too difficult. War really is hell. It makes everything worse and development next to impossible"-@DrTedros

Talking to other people can help reduce stress & help you find ways to cope better.

That may not be easy: you may not feel like being socially connected when your mood is low, but do let family & friends know that they can help by reaching out to you.

Take a break, #LetsTalk

The WHO COVID Q&As are so very helpful. Really appreciate regular epidemiological updates and more in-depth answers that the regular press conferences don’t often allow time to address. Please know your hard work and great public health communication is noted. Well done all!
