Hey @elonmusk what’s this about blue checks going away unless we pay Twitter? I’ve been here for 15 years giving my ⏰ & witty thoughts all for bupkis. Now you’re telling me that I have to pay for something you gave me for free? What is this-the Colombia Records & Tape Club?🙄

May it die a swift death
Once again, “The Parable of David French.” This is how conservatism dies. wng.org/opinions/the-p…

Another direct threat against Bragg & other prosecutors closing in on him.

“We must stop them cold!”

The man is completely unhinged.

As all my Republican friends said in 2016, “Don’t worry, the presidency will change him.”

You are correct.

I have nothing to add to bad faith conversations with anti-trans bigots.
In reply to @ZaackHunt
Well, at least you're honest about having nothing to add to the conversation.

Just curious: when you go to work do you Uber or drive your clown car?

The Republican convention next year that renominates Trump will have speaking slots for Jan. 6 convicts who’ve gotten out by then.

No

I don't know this guy, but is there any chance that All Y'all could speak to his actual Tweet? I think his points/questions are valid.

Trump’s speech tonight reminded me just how pessimistic and dark and narrow the entire Maga mindset really is.

it’s an ideology of fake outrage, and real credulity led by a man without a moral bone in his shambling body.

Weird how pretending to defend women doesn’t give you a free pass for being a raging bigot
In reply to @ZaackHunt
He is on the side of women but still gets shit upon…

Excited for 20 more months of columns telling liberals why it's their fault Donald Trump is popular with Republicans.

This could be #Tennessee so incredibly easily. We're #1 for hospital closures per capita. @TNGOP leaves $1.6 billion a year on the table which could be helping provide critical medical services.

The anti-Christ needs his false prophet

This is a dangerous movement, and Christianity is at the heart of it.

It’s always instructive that the very same people who lustily love incarcerating tons of poor, powerless people for even the tiniest offenses, think powerful elites should be exempt from that impulse.

A voluntary resignation at your leisure is hardly being held accountable for the violation of those under your charge.

Media: @julianzelizer: "Many people think Gerald Ford's pardon of Nixon actually failed to achieve accountability. We're still living with that to this day."
@Acosta: "And there's something to be said for the argument that accountability could bring healing to this country."

Remember that school district DeSantis spoke about freedom at yesterday (@oneclayschools)?

Well, they just added another 50+ books to their list of removed books that are out until they complete the challenge, review and appeal process. The total now is 355 since July 1, 2022.

Tate Reeves belongs nowhere near any public office

This used to drive me nuts when I lived in Memphis because 99% of the time the tornadoes weren’t near us.

But that one time they drew the tornado line over our neighborhood made me grateful for the interruptions.
Replying to @ZaackHunt
Seriously. I can assure you there is no more helpless feeling in life than sitting in your bathtub waiting for a tornado to arrive. Meteorologists don’t just predict the weather. They literally save lives.

🧵 Every time TV meteorologists interrupt a sporting event for severe weather coverage, complaints ensue. But the March 24 tornado outbreak in Mississippi shows why the stations have to put safety first. I went back and watched the coverage. It was truly a public service >>>

Absolutely 100% guaranteed
Odds that Trump refers to “The great David Koresh and his beautiful compound” tonight?

I think that Florida colleges cancelling entire classes if they offend a DeSantis voter is a bigger threat to free speech than a bunch of Stanford students heckling a government official. And I think anyone who argues otherwise is a ridiculous person.

Often at the end of a term I have conservative Christian students say my courses are not like they were taught to expect. Having come expecting me to be hostile toward them and so on, it's amazing how treating them with basic respect can launch them on a path of questioning stuff

This is interesting. Happy with the decision but I don’t recall it happening very often. Often times, the cop gets hired one city/county over. Is the difference here that these cops are Black? 🤔

He’s the #COVID19 equivalent of Adolf Eichman. He sat in the White House and let Americans die.

Do you ever laugh?

Or are you too consumed with seeing Christian persecution around every corner to have a sense of humor?

This will never go anywhere beyond the house but the shameless fascism is still something to behold
NEW: A trio of @HouseGOP committee chairs say the House could soon take up legislation to strip state and local prosecutors of the authority to prosecute former presidents in response to the potential indictment of former president Donald Trump. independent.co.uk/news/world/ame…

See, it’s funny because it’s racist!

Do you ever make fun of Muslims? If you do tell us all your best Muslim jokes I would really like to hear them. What about Muhammad? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx That's what I thought

People forget Pope Francis was a founding member of DC Talk until he left to sign with Death Row Records

Telling how denunciations of Zelensky from the populist right often call Ukraine's Jewish president, who is married to a woman and standing up to a more powerful country, a weak gay Nazi.
Both shows what they think is bad, and how much their worldview requires inverting reality.

If insecurity was a tweet…
Where are the men at? We can’t stand idly by while women are attacked and abused just for stating they want to be treated with decency and have single sex space protected. WHERE ARE THE MEN, The protectors, the masculine men? Where are you? pic.twitter.com/XeSa7gnB9M

Somewhere Judah Smith is looking at this picture of Pope Francis and thinking “Man, that coat is way too small”

There's an important—and, for you, highly relevant—exception to this rule that I guess they did not teach you at crime school

Personally I would love for America as Marjorie Taylor Greene knows it to be over.
