If you're listening to me on a regular basis, you generally understand what I mean, and may even enjoy what I have to say. Which is a blessing, in and of itself. I really mean that. But it also begs the question: if you understood what I said, then what exactly is your problem?
People who are well versed in how grammar works, I assume to be also well versed in how grammar develops and shifts to suit changing contexts and our changing times SO I will not repeat basic information about all of that. I'll assume we all take those ideas as given.
lol and interestingly enough, it's people of a variety of backgrounds! (also a HEALTHY chunk of both For Colored Nerds' and The Nod's listenerships were not Black, and they never dared reach out to me in such a way, so it's not just a race thing)
