My understanding is that Boston, Minnesota and the New York Islanders are the most likely options for free-agent defenseman Alex Goligoski.

Woooooooof.
Hearing #Canes are closing in on an agreement with UFA D Tony DeAngelo.

Not done yet. But expecting a 1-year deal. There was lots of interest and the opportunity to play for Rod Brind'Amour was appealing.

#Flyers will be signing D Keith Yandle to a one-year contract worth $900k.

Between this and Nate Schmidt last offseason, Vegas sure has no issue doing their players dirty when a new shiny toy is available.
A source close to Marc-Andre Fleury says that the trade is done, and that the Vezina Trophy winner found out through Twitter.

🎙️BRUINS BEAT🎙️

This is a PACKED episode.

@EvanMarinofsky and @ConorRyan_93 dive into a Bruins Free Agency preview. They also offer up some LD options, as well as one goalie the Bruins shouldn't go near.

It's my understanding that Fabian Lysell won't be at Bruins development camp next week. Has not yet been able to get COVID vaccine.

Nate Schmidt's agent Matt Keator and Canucks GM Jim Benning have been working together on finding a new home for the veteran D. The hope is to get him moved before the UFA market opens Wednesday. Do Bos/NYI make sense? (Trotz connection). He has 10-team no-trade list (no).

Providence College's Parker Ford will attend Bruins development camp next week. Two-way center is a free agent and will get lots of NHL looks this season

Good morning everyone, god has let me live another day and i am about to make it everyone's problem. pic.twitter.com/H2ISIurk7q

If he's a veteran addition in the bottom-six? Interesting.

But if he's a 2C replacement? Well...

Can confirm that Danton Heinen will not be qualified by the Anaheim Ducks.

Good info here from Nick. Told same, with Boston waiting to approach Getzlaf right when the doors open.

Both Nick Ritchie and Ondrej Kase will now become UFAs.

Of course, the Bruins could always sign either player to cheaper contracts below their QO (Would make sense re. Kase if they wanted a low-risk deal), but letting both Kase/Ritchie go also frees up some cap room.

Just speculating - but letting Ritchie walk could also open the door for DeBrusk to remain and entrench himself in that 3LW spot.

The Bruins also signed D Nick Wolff to a one-year, two-way contract with an NHL cap hit of $750,000.

The Bruins announce that they have not extended qualifying offers to Nick Ritchie, Ondrej Kase and Robert Lantosi.

They did extend qualifying offers to Callum Booth and Zach Senyshyn.

And then they could also sign him for less then his $2 million qualifying offer.

If he's not qualified, Nick Ritchie will become an unrestricted free agent.
Hearing plans have changed in BOS and Nick Ritchie will not be qualified. The Bruins had to adjust since stating they initially planned to qualify him last week.

It’s far too early in the offseason for these shenanigans

4 years? 😬
Former #mnwild defenseman Ryan Suter still mulling over multiple opportunities and is expected to make decision on his next team by early Wednesday morning. He's got multiple multi-year options; 4 years seems likely. Believed Dallas, FLA, others, still in the mix

From the weekend:

- Why the Taylor Hall deal is a win-win for all parties

- Charlie McAvoy is going to get paiiiiiiid next summer

- Why the Bruins were wise to walk away from a Garland deal

Hearing Vegas @GoldenKnights are closing in on an extension to keep D Alec Martinez off the market.

Expect Martinez to come in around $5 million, perhaps a little more, on a three-year deal.

GM Don Waddell a earlier said Hurricanes are "wide open" for goalies:

"We think we're the opportunity for all these guys because we don't have a goalie. We don't have a starting goalie and if you really want to be a starting goalie in the NHL this is a pretty good spot for you."

Bruins round out their 2021 draft class with 6-foot, right-shot defenseman Ty Gallagher, who is heading to BU this fall. So an Eagle and a Terrier in the seventh round.

Jellvig is a big fan of Lysell. "I think Fabian is a great player. His offensive skills are unbelievable. When he comes off the rush against the D, he's going to toe-drag it, put it between his legs, and go top corner."

And at 161, Sabres select Swedish center William Von Barnekow Lofberg.

Heard a rumor that there’s a new team in town here.

In the fifth round, the Bruins select LW Oskar Jellvik. Bruins love the Swedes this draft.

Carolina drafts Robert Orr at No. 136.

Philip Svedeback (6-foot-3, 191 pounds) played for the Vaxjo Jr. team in Sweden last season. Heading to Dubuque (USHL) next season.
