I know I’m always late to these things and you all have already seen this but like… come on. This is pure gold.

Not even being corny…lend this kid your ear… you’ll hear a kernel of truth 😂

K I’m done. 😘

Quite the statement from the Oz campaign to @NBCNews in response to rival Fetterman's return to the campaign trail. Campaign manager Casey Contres tells me Fetterman is a "spoiled man-child" and calls him out for "hiding in his basement scrolling social media for months"

NEWS: #PASEN candidate @FettermanLt will hold a rally in Erie, PA on August 12.

It's his first rally since suffering a stroke just before the primary.

WATCH: “Nobody expected” Kansas' vote to protect abortion access, @DashaBurns reports. “At best” advocates expected a narrow victory.

“Nobody expected this level of turnout. … We got a resounding answer to whether or not this was going to be a galvanizing issue for November.”

August, people.
What really stands out about Kansas last night is the turnout, which got close to presidential level.

In August.

53% turnout in Johnson County, Kansas…about 47% statewide so far according to preliminary results.

This kind of showing is virtually unheard of in a midterms primary. And sends a big message ahead of November:

*The abortion rights issue will drive voters to the polls.*

History.
WATCH: NBC News projects Kansas voters overwhelmingly back keeping abortion rights enshrined in their state Constitution.

Kansans have struck down a proposed amendment that would have stripped abortion rights from the state constitution according to @NBCNews

Endless cheers at the no vote victory party. It was a decisive win.

Kansas Secretary of State on turnout, speaking anecdotally:

"It could be almost 50%. And at that point, you're looking at general election numbers...it's looking a lot like the 2008 turnout for the Obama Presidential race. So it's incredibly high turnout."

THIS. IS. BIG.

“If you have to win by deceiving people, then you haven’t won at all”

🤯🤯🤯⬇️⬇️⬇️
Secretary of State Scott Schwab says that, based on anecdotal evidence, turnout today may match the turnout in the 2008 presidential general election contest.

That would be around 50% turnout, way above the 36% turnout his office predicted earlier this week. #ksleg

Yesterday, Kansans received this misleading text message claiming a YES vote on the "Value Them Both" amendment would "give women a choice." In fact, voting YES is voting in favor of stripping abortion rights from the state constitution. More on this on @MSNBC @NBCNews pic.twitter.com/tkRNTEMwFB
