Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott really run at two completely different speeds.

My criteria for the Baseball Hall of Fame is: "did I look up this player's card in a Beckett when I got it in a pack of cards" and Fred McGriff falls just short.
Elected to the Hall of Fame: Fred McGriff.
Not elected to the Hall of Fame: Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens.

The Colts could just decide to be nice and release him.

They've done weirder things this year to be fair.

(They couldn't really)

Get Matt Ryan to the 49ers, heck the rules

Doug, do you think this could BB to make some kind of change with the coaching staff on O? Just to have a fighting chance?
Replying to @Talrain79
I think it's possible he could take on a bigger role on offense, but I highly doubt there are major sweeping changes coming.

Here's the NFC playoff picture.

NFC West now more interesting with Jimmy Garoppolo out for the season.

SEA remaining games: vs. CAR, vs. SF, at KC, vs. NYJ, vs. LAR

This Jimmy Garoppolo injury obviously also has massive implications for his future as a free agent. Things could have become messy again in SF if they made a run with him as the starter.

Brock Purdy time.
Kyle Shanahan says Jimmy Garoppolo has a season-ending foot injury.

The Dolphins, Jets and Chargers all lost today.

Patriots are back in "so you're telling me there's a chance?" position in the AFC playoff picture.

Don't look now, but the #Raiders are on their way back after everyone on Twitter already fired Josh McDaniels.

Source told me week ago that the #49ers are, "Maybe the most talented team in the league.”

They made a strong case today with their first true statement win of the season.

I got locked out of my account last week for saying this in reference too Jakobi Meyers getting injured. It’s not good right now. pic.twitter.com/sRxzlMR1Is

this reply might get flagged, but that's nuts

Also, the Twitter censors are broken. This reply was flagged for having offensive content.

There are four great games on right now, and we're about to watch Colts-Cowboys by itself in an hour

Is this a "surviving the ground" interception?

Every time you think it can't get worse for the Broncos, they outdo themselves.

Losing to a Lamar Jackson-less Ravens team while only giving up 10 points is rough.

Russell Wilson has thrown eight touchdowns all season, one in the last three weeks, four in his last seven games.

Good lord, N'Keal Harry made one of the catches of the year.

AJ Brown is literally uncoverable. He'll catch a pass while being hugged.

#Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has been ruled out with his knee injury. Tyler Huntley the rest of the way in Baltimore.

Christian Watson has seven touchdowns in four games. This is insanity.

FCS schools were in that game? I dont remember that

Def are in the PS2 version

Do you know how many times I started at an FCS school, went 12-0 and go plucked away by a lower-level Power 5 school in NCAA Football '09?

A lot of really talented people were let go by PFF yesterday, many of which I personally vouched for in the hiring process.

I'd like to vouch for those folks again and encourage those in position to hire to consider my guys:

@BomaniKambui
@sjroshell

• The Tom Brady to the Patriots question.

• How Justin Herbert has performed this season.

The Patriots' offense is 31st in EPA per play since Week 7. The only team beneath them, the Colts, have benched two quarterbacks and fired their head coach and offensive coordinator this season.
The Patriots' offense is still broken. pff.com/news/nfl-new-e…

I asked Patriots players (and Bill Belichick) after last night's game why the offense is still struggling and why the unit is so much less efficient from last year to this season.

And I felt it was important to present everything they said. Not just the headline-grabbing quotes.

#Patriots WR Kendrick Bourne mostly held players accountable for issues on offense tonight.

“I think it’s more players. The coaches can only do so much. So, we’ve got to make the plays and get open. We’ve got to give Mac time.

He did say this about third-down issues, however:

Can't fire the OC and DC when you don't an OC and DC
In reply to @DougKyed
Let’s all admit it as fans, they are not a good team. DC & OC should be fired immediately. As bad as the O has been, D has zero answers when they play a good team.

Down by 17 with 7:38 left in the game, it took the Patriots five minutes and 45 seconds to score 3 points.

That was dreadful.

The Patriots averaged 3.6 yards per play on that drive.

In reply to @DougKyed
was it like this all game or did they bump up the time font size because the score got out of hand
Replying to @rodger
it would be a good bit to increase the font size of the time for every point the Bills score, but it has been this big all night

Patriots CB Jonathan Jones is having a tough time in coverage. Eight catches on 10 targets for 79 yards, two TDs so far.

New England doesn't have an answer for Stefon Diggs.

Jordan Poyer's catch didn't survive the ground. Incomplete.

I don't think I've ever seen a coach wearing one of the sideline capes.

Crossbar doink.

Watch Josh Uche dip under David Quessenberry.

Josh Uche is pretty ridiculous.

Jakobi Meyers wanted pass interference. He had a case.

BREAKING: The Bills have punted.

This is just absurd.
