Was there a connection or mistaken identity? Has that info been released Emma?
This is an excellent question, I haven’t covered this trial extensively- but prosecutors made a point of saying to jurors- there was nothing in Mr Virgona’s background to explain why he was killed.
 
A jury has found Aaron Ong guilty of the shooting murder of Paul Virgona, the Croydon father of two was killed on his way to work on Eastlink three years ago. @7NewsMelbourne

Then it rapidly increases late afternoon/early evening, when there is the risk of flash flooding.

90 yr old Paolo Mannici has been fined $20,000 for shooting a man in the arm during a fight over an unpaid bill. The judge who spared him jail told him, “in a civilised society we must use the courts to resolve commercial disputes, otherwise we’ll have the law of the jungle.”

Just saw your replies on a Guardian article about delayed bags @emma_os - we are in Sydney and have been waiting 11 days with nothing from @Qantas about where are bags even are let alone when they might be delivered!!! Nonsense. “Could be” in Brisbane, no confirmation possible.

Hi Emma. My baggage just arrived at 1455 (WA time) today (33 hours post flight arrival). Couriered to the place I’m staying. The courier just turned up no notification or phone call from Qantas or courier beforehand.

I was on flight QF783 MEL- PER 13 April 22. Still no bag and no indication from Qantas when they will arrive. Tracking number Qantas gave me doesn’t work. Total 4 hours on hold yesterday in two phone calls. Spent $925 yesterday on replacing things as couldn’t wait any longer
