There will be no UK football spring game this year due to new turf being installed at Kroger Field.

There will be at least one open practice for fans at a TBD date.

Here's a section from my story on Rep. James Comer about his relationship with successor ag commissioner (& 2023 GOP gov hopeful) Ryan Quarles.

They don't like each other, but neither of them will say why.

I agree, but devil's advocate: are interested parties turning to legacy institutions whose cultural coverage, traditionally, amounts to reviews and straight news? Rise of video games coincides with rise of the internet, where hundreds of "alts" have fed interest for decades.
Don't say that to discount the coverage happening at Launcher. Video games, given their relevance to and impact on society, do warrant coverage beyond dedicated outlets. Just not sure how it should fit into the mix at places like NYT and WaPo.

Hot take: Not only should mainstream journalism cover video games, the coverage shouldn't be hidden away in its own little vertical so most readers don't even see it. Put 'em right there in the culture section with books, film, music.

Margaret Loesch literally put her career on the line so a kids show about karate and picking up litter that got half its footage from a Japanese show would air and my dumb ass could talk about it with my friend on a podcast that brings me immeasurable joy. She should be sainted

Encourage all my followers to take a minute out of their day and read this. This is my better half writing about her twin brother. We lost him 4 years ago, but the pain is still fresh. Be aware that everything may not be OK with friends, family, despite appearances...

Power Rangers wouldn't be as rich as it is if not for the talent of so many women BTS. Ann Austen, Ellen Levy-Sarnoff, @jackieyo, Sally Campbell, @misty_flores, @BeccaBarnesCats are just a few

And it wouldn't exist at all without the OG, Margaret Loesch. #WomenInPowerRangers

When public officials hide from and give convoluted, opaque answers to journalists, yes, it makes our jobs harder.

But what that really means is they're not being upfront with their constituents, the very people who elected them and/or pay their salaries.

Ricky Rubio wore #3 with the Cavs last season before succumbing to a season-ending injury. Caris LeVert was acquired mid-season and selected #3. Rubio is back this year and is wearing #13 while LeVert continues to wear Rubio's old #3. Rubio remains the nicest guy in the game.

Just like expanding the playoffs even though it weakens the overall product, the NFL will absolutely do this to chase more money, even though it鈥檚 a terrible idea for the overall quality of the game.

Ain鈥檛 it awesome that pretty much every multi-billion company in the world spends most of their time wondering how to ruin perfectly fine things in the pursuit of a few extra dollars?

Permanently moving to neutral-site conference title games would give the NFL a chance to evaluate potential Super Bowl sites and reward teams with Super Bowl鈥搎uality stadiums. @AlbertBreer has details on why the league likes the plan (馃挵馃挵馃挵)

I know Tom Brady will come in at $37.5 million per at some point, and he's gonna be on Fox's A team, obviously, because of it. But Greg Olsen's done freaking awesome in his first year on the big games, and doesn't deserve a demotion.
