THE FISH ROTS FROM THE HEAD The #Aljazeeradocumentary exposes the extent of the rot at the top,but it’s just the tip of the iceberg. This clearly shows how corrupt, rotten & broken leadership has destroyed a jewel and great country. Zimbabwe is not poor, it’s just poorly governed!

President @CyrilRamaphosa as a grey listed country that is trying to remove that classification, we can’t associate with thugs. @GovernmentZA must immediately freeze any bank accounts these individuals have here and must ban them from visiting or doing business in South Africa.

You are a criminal @edmnangagwa and you do not deserve to lead a country.

Level 1 and above of load shedding are not normal. Never accept mediocrity because of its inherent stubbornness.

My weekly shopping is now no less than R600 a week.. in comparison to a year ago when it was about R350 a week (and for exactly the same items)! I can’t imagine how the poor survive!

In last 5yrs how many students from varsity, college, high school got jobs, helped to start business? That what we should be talking about

Question: If someone says "MY house was hit by 2 BOMBS." (emphasis mine) Is your job as a journalist to tell us that the person says his house was hit by a bomb or is it to check if it's true and then report what you see? Possible new journalism curriculum teaches "he says.."

It seems like the media has moved on without fact checking this whole story. They should update the public and do a follow up in my opinion.

We are headed in the wrong direction under the leadership of this government.

Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 13,6% over the past 12 months.

The reading in February is the highest since April 2009. Annual inflation for bread & cereals was 20,5%.
Annual consumer #inflation rose for the first time in four months, edging to 7,0% in February from 6,9% in January. Food and non-alcoholic beverages and #transport were the main contributors to the inflation rate in February.

We have taken @Eskom_SA and @CyrilRamaphosa to court for their failures to supply South Africa with electricity, the crazy electricity price hikes. Here is an update on how that is going

Can you explain further what you mean by “he is just not displaying the macho image characteristic of most dictators”?

Should we take it to mean that he is a dictator but he works on his brand?
They say he is slow, he is just meticolous. They say he is indecisive, he is just thorough in his approach. They say he is weak, he is just not displaying the macho image characteristic of most dictators. He is President CM Ramaphosa, the Commander in Chief. pic.twitter.com/d5ATTn1cOo

People need jobs, skills not just welfare

If you had said in 2010 there were 30 000 students passing maths in grade 12 and in 2022 there were 500 000 students passing maths you would be a legend.

Unfortunately last year only 30 000 students passed maths, physics with over 60%.

I participated in an excellent panel discussion today hosted by @KAS_SouthAfrica. While there are many challenges facing this country, our best days are still ahead.

What is the update on this story?

I often hear people saying we need new faces and thinkers in South African politics @NobuntuSA is a brilliant business leader and someone who is deeply passionate about fixing South Africa.

Today alongside @NobuntuSA the @BuildOneSA Deputy Leader we commemorated this #HumanRightsDay by laying a wreath at the Sharpeville Memorial.

We must never forget the sacrifices that were made to win democracy and we must honor those sacrifices by building one South Africa!

‼️Media statement‼️

Those who fought for the freedom of South Africa are now the same people who are denying South Africans access to their human rights through corruption, incompetence and negligence.

We @BuildOneSA will hold this government to account through court action.

Replying to @MmusiMaimane
We were in the court today and we will fight for all South Africans.

Today we started a historic journey taking @Eskom_SA and @CyrilRamaphosa to court.

It cannot be normal or acceptable that a President says he does not have a duty to end load shedding! It cannot be normal or acceptable to accept energy price increases in the middle of a crisis.

Shouldn’t the broken glass be on the inside? If there was an incendiary device thrown into the house, is there footage of fire damage?
Has the media been able to ascertain if a case of murder or attempted murder has been opened and the location of the deceased? Has Lux gone to the police station to give a statement? Have the police issued an official statement on the charges and the suspects at this stage?

I challenge you to use these resources to find the killers of AKA, Cloete Murray, Thomas Murray and the Babita Deokaran murder mastermind.

We need to see those arrests and the arrests of drug dealers in known hotspots, removal of guns in hostels. Keep that same energy.
Replying to @MmusiMaimane
There is no confidence from the public from this show of force and this use of resources because no one experienced this level of care and attention when their homes are burgled, when their family members are killed, when foreign currency was found in sofas. Do this for everyone.

The police should be this responsive everyday and not just to protect the dignity and ego of a head of state.

The reason why people spend thousands every month on private security and insurance is because of the failures of our police system to reduce and prevent crime.

Never forget that it’s supposed to be stage zero load shedding everyday. That’s what a functional country does.

Do not get conditioned into being happy just because things work part time. They are aways supposed to work around the clock.

The story in the front page of the @SundayTimesZA should surely be about the use of state intelligence to investigate di nyatsi, relationships and intra party wars prior to conference. That’s misuse of state resources in a country that needs a well functioning intelligence.

We desperately need a clean government or South Africa will become a combination of Zimbabwe and Mexico.

Cloete Murray and his son Thomas Murray were brutally killed in broad daylight for uncovering a massive scandal linked to Bosasa and the ANC.

Sorry sir it is a political matter that only can be solved by ethical political leaders that have a socio-economic plan that will lift the majority of south africans out of poverty. It starts with forcing the ANC to replace Cyril Ramaphosa #southafrica
